If there was only one sentence written in the history books about you, what would you want it to say?
"Something about my insatiable curiosity."
Any guilty pleasures?
".... German chocolate cake, sweet potato casserole. Iced coffee drinks. And playing obscure MMO games."
What's your strangest fear?
"Trypophobia. Odd, yet strangely common."
What would be the best gift that someone could give you?
"That would depend on the person... I do not receive many gifts."
What do you do first thing in the morning?
"Why, you assume my sleep pattern follows the typical norm set by societal standards and circadian rhythms! Though when following such a pattern, usually a shower."
Who's your least favorite person?
"Too many. None worth particular attention."
Ouch! Don't let that rejection get you down! He's just dealing with some personal problems! I still suggest you spend time with him--I'm sure he'll open up to you!
"Rejection? I am not one to take such a thing personally. Additionally, I'm not entirely convinced that an attempt from me to change his feelings would be beneficial to him."
Upon Bryony's desk sits a jar, slightly greenish in color. Only there is a head staring out at her from inside of it, almost as if it were alive. When swatted off the desk the lid pops off, revealing it was only a piece of paper cut out and placed inside to give the impression of a preserved head. Well, somebody is mean!
"Where would this jar come from? I live alone currently. More interesting, what substance is in the jar that would not degrade the paper? Why do you make the assumption that such a sight would startle me?
So many unanswered questions! I am interested in further details."
,
Why don't you interact with him more? I'm sure he's more than willing to spend time with you!
"That is... a shockingly apt suggestion. Though I do worry."
Lysandre walks in holding flowers. Do you accept his date proposal?
"The... likelihood of that particular scenario occurring is slim, but yes."
Do you wish you were in a relationship?
"I do not wish for these things. They simply happen when the conditions are appropriate!"
What do you like most about making out?
"The feeling afterward. And seeing my lipstick make its mark, fufufu."
"Submit inquiries as you please!"
the second law || Bryony & Hulda
Bryony surveyed the town of Veilstone. From outside the Galactic building, you could see almost the entire town. Unfortunately, the exterior decoration seemed to have a single theme: drab. There were two exceptions; primarily, the Game Corner, with its brightly-lit exterior, and the department store. She had already experienced the second building for herself - in her right arm she carried a white plastic bag printed with the store's logo, concealing a handful of uncommon berries and a Growlithe plush. She was dressed in street clothes of course, a rather large but stylish pair of sunglasses concealing her eyes despite the overcast weather. Her usual headgear was tucked into the small handbag at her side.
There was also the site of the mysterious meteorites. She suspected that they might be connected to the mysterious pokémon Deoxys, and planned to acquire a sliver for further examination before leaving.
However, that was not the reason she had come to Sinnoh. No, she intended to satisfy some measure of curiosity toward Team Galactic. Officially, she was there to inquire about their innovations in clean energy to take back to her home region, but her true interest lay in how they had managed to sustain public operation despite their leader's defeat. After all, they drew several parallels with Team Flare's own history.
She turned, heading for the imposing building's doors. A flurry of thoughts rushed through her head as the door opened. In her distraction, she seemed not to process the shorter woman attempting to head out from the same doorway. Both distracted in their own ways, they collided.
Bryony's thoughts scattered. As her rear end collided with the pave, all she could focus on was the image of her sunglasses falling to the ground. Immediately she was on all fours, concealing her eyes with her right hand, the shopping bag on the ground next to her with its contents spilled.
"A-ah!" The glasses lay next to the stranger's ankle, and it was at this moment that Bryony processed that she was dressed in full Team Galactic uniform. She snatched up her sunglasses, feeling a pang of regret at wearing street clothes herself. Once the accessory was back in place, she remained on the ground for a moment to take in the sight in front of her. The girl didn't seem to be terribly fazed by the sudden collision, in fact she seemed... accustomed to it.
Bryony blinked, realizing she should probably say something.
"I apologize...!" The scientist began stammering, which was uncharacteristic for her. "Uh, I don't know if you're aware of Team Flare from Kalos, but I am a Flare scientist and, ah, I'd like to know if there is someone with whom I might discuss Team Galactic's technological innovations..."
