Enjoying the great outdoors! I've got a couple weeks of holiday from work which unfortunately because of the current situation, I couldn't go where I had planned, but whilst I've got the time free, it doesn't stop me from getting to enjoy probably my favourite thing in life - nature! I love the outdoors, I love exploring and the feeling of being able to get away from reality. The second part of my holiday will be used in one room of the house - the music room! Here, I'm hoping I can learn how to produce music and can hopefully have some new releases in the near future. Masks won't stop us from singing! Today I had my 10th gig for the local retirement homes and hospitals of Würzburg - organised by @theaterchambinzky @babel_deralex. Loved every minute. And afterwards I had the time to visit my favourite local Cafe @naehcafeedeltraud where I bought this awesome mask. If you haven't already got one, then go see them, have a lovely chat with them and get yourself a stylish new mask. Really comfy and adjustable to fit to your face! Busy busy busy! I know a lot of you aren't enjoying the home lock downs, but for me, I almost see it as a blessing (sorry!). You see, when I'm not making music, (which sometimes feels like a long time), I'm working as an ambulance driver (I say ambulance driver not paramedic, because I'm not qualified to paramedic status, but more as a paramedic assistant) and in these crazy times, I quite enjoy getting to stay at home and do all the little things that need doing around the house! But I am also enjoying that the streets are much easier to drive, I don't sit in traffic for 30mins on my way to work and driving the ambulance is also a lot easier without people blocking the way! Which means in that sense, you really are 'helping save lives". But that doesn't mean that we don't have our problems either. The protection for us against Corona is limited and that means we have to use it sparingly. We can't go to every patient and treat them as if they have Corona, and that means that we get a lot of "close calls", which then means we have to sit out a day until a test comes back saying we're safe, we're not infected. So what i think im saying is, if you're staying at home, please think of others and most importantly, the people who need if for work, before you buy all the stock from the supermarkets and online Shops and just learn to enjoy being able to spend time at home and relaxing.
