mina wasn’t born pink! She was born a normal baby! fair brown skin, brown hair, and no horns! her body started to change when she was around 3 years old and the pink began arriving in splotches. at first her parents assumed she was having a terrible allergic reaction to something but the doctor informed them that it wasn’t the case and that this might be her quirk beginning to bud. it was a sigh of relief but also very stressful bc her mother had a quirk which she could modify the solubility of certain liquids and her father had a quirk where he could shoot a sort of thick gelatinous goo from anywhere on his body. 

   it wasn’t until age 5 that she became wholly pink from head to toe and even the colors of her eyes had changed. she looked prettty spooky tbh. the horns were just itchy spots on her head until she was 6 and then they too began to sprout. it was so cool she thought she was gonna have big ram horns but they’re small little antennae things. the color change was the biggest surprise because neither of her parents look like that.

mina’s mom is gotdam african-american n moved to japan three years before she met her dad where she was doing an internship at a hero association 4 making better hero outfits.
