Allah will answer your prayers. And when He does, He will answer them in ways you could never even imagine. He will blow you away with the perfection of His plans and will leave you utterly speechless in the way He allows things to fall perfectly into place.
I just heard in a lecture ‘allah knows you personally’ and that’s given me more comfort than anything else
the maker is closer than the jugular vein to me and he knows of me, he hears me, he listens to me and he provides
“Ya Allah give her happiness and if sadness still lingers in her eyes. Give her whatever happiness is left of mine.”

Most people think Allahu Akbar means "Allah is the greatest." But it actually means something more beautiful. It actually means Allah is greater.
When you repeat it in Salah, it means Allah is greater than whatever else you could be doing or thinking about at this time. When you say it in difficulty, it means Allah is greater than the hardships that surround me. When you say it in sadness, it means Allah is greater than the situation that is hurting my heart. When you say it in your happy moments, it means the Allah who granted me this joy is greater than whatever is making me happy. So whichever situation you say it in, it reminds you that Allah is and will always be greater than anything and everything that exists.
closer to Allah, closer to happiness
To crave a person’s presence instead of their body is the purest form of intimacy.
"بعض الناس يستحقون الانتظار"
"Some people are worth waiting for."
Umar ibn al Khattab( رضي الله عنه) said to a man who was thinking of divorcing his wife:
"Why do you want to divorce her?" He said, "I do not love her." Umar ( رضي الله عنه) said, "Must every house be built on love? What about loyalty and appreciation?"
He went on: 'You men! When we marry, we give a serious promise to her. A woman gives birth to children and goes through hard times during her pregnancy. Then she suckles the baby and takes care all nights about her children, when they get sick or need anything. She sacrifices her beauty and youth for being a mother. How fair is if, when her husband leaves her, when she is grown up? If she would have never taken care of her home and family, instead of taking care of her body and beauty, her husband would say: "What a bad mother she is."
Where is integrity and loyalty? Fear Allah regarding your behaviour towards your wives."

«a winner in every situation»
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymīn رحمه الله said:
"Be aware of the fact that when you ask Allāh you're a winner in every situation."
Sharḥ Riyādh as-Sālihīn, p. 52
may everyone with a heavy heart feel light again
“The one thing you can change is how you treat yourself. And that one thing can change everything.”
