Fiddleford made an android with a very complex A.I named Lucas who the Southerner claims as his son. Before Fiddles ever built the body, he allowed Lucas to design his own body and face, allowing him also to choose his own gender.  Lucas was built as a way for Fiddleford to deal with the loss of his own son.
