Self-improvement is a process of constant learning. It is essential to evaluate oneself every now and then. Self-Improvement helps an individual evaluate their strengths and weaknesses and work towards development. Here are a few things that we at AMK encourage in our colleagues.
Assess your performance - often this makes employees their own competitors which gives then an accurate understanding of their abilities and helps them come up with a plan of action on improvement for the same.
Idea board - AMK has an idea board which is an open forum for training and development purposes. Ideas at any point in time are encouraged, accepted and executed with mutual discussion. It has helped us quite a lot in terms of performance. It has also improved the employment relationship as well.
Set short terms goals and deadlines - often we see that deadlines in any organization scares an individual and seems like a lot of pressure to work under, but here at AMK there are “self-set deadlines and goal” concepts. In this mode of work, the deadlines are set by oneself based on their responsibilities and requirements resulting in lesser pressure and a lot of room for improvement.
Health, wellness and office-life balance - out of all the other points we believe that this one is extremely important. We conduct fun- activities, wellness classes and help our people focus on both, professional and personal life.
Finally, like Larry Page says, “Always deliver more than expected!”, well to abide by this saying self-improvement definitely plays a crucial role.
WHAT MAKES AMK RECRUITMENT PROCESS UNIQUE?
The transparent recruitment process has always been one of the vital missions at AMK. We follow a unique process that helps us hire the best and the most relevant candidate. “Hiring right avoids hearing wrong”, hence determining the apt candidate is crucial. There is a step-by-step collaborative recruitment process followed which has resulted not just in reduction in recruitment time consumed but also resulted in the retention of candidates.
The first and principal step which determines the outcome is Planning. We have a magnificent team that assimilates the requirement and analyses it thoroughly. After a detailed study of the requirement, all the teams with the assistance of the managers and team leads are briefed on the same for better understanding which in turn helps in the next steps. This step involves groundwork and delegation and development of candidate attraction strategy.
Based on the strategic plan, our team gets to the next step which is Sourcing. We have the database of more than 200,000 profiles. Social Sourcing, Job portal sourcing and Contact network sourcing are some of the means we use to obtain the apt profile.
Our methods of Screening the candidates are quite different from the rest. We double-check the candidate’s credentials and conduct internal telephonic conversation with our expert TA team, to determine their prospective. Once we have the list of potential candidates our Manager and HR take up a skype call that very day and conducts a review interview.
