Candidates from consulting background will be preferred with good database and strong exposure on the technologies (IT Applications)

Proficiency in English is a must

AMK Technology is currently looking for “System Analyst” to be deployed at a project with our esteemed client from the BFSI domain.

Job Location - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Employment Term - Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:-

Accountable for support of Informix applications

Ensure production stability - monitoring, identifying issues, resolutions, etc.

Design, develop, test and implement Informix codes

Liaise with infrastructure teams and Vendors / Partners, if required

Liaise with Business Users on requirements and issues

Adhere to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and documentations

Required Qualifications:-

Degree from a recognized University preferably in Information Technology & Computer Science. Minimum requirement is Diploma in IT related field

Possess knowledge and experience in developing, customizing and implementing software solutions

At least 3 years of technical experience

Experience in writing the Informix 4GL codes, Unix Scripting, Informix database store procedures 

Knowledge on database and processing large volume of transactions

Required Qualifications:-

Job Location - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Project Duration - 12 months

Duties and Responsibilities:-

Serve as Schedule Management subject matter expert

Promote disciplined knowledge exchange and quality application through technical coaching

Contribute to improvement of Schedule Management Work Process and leveraging of learning experiences

Provide recommendations on cycle time reduction opportunities and techniques as applied to scheduling

Analyze the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and assist in the development of conceptual schedules to evaluate various alternates or anticipated schedule challenges

Develop and maintain comprehensive integrated master project schedules including Front-end Loading, Detail Design, Procurement, Construction and Start-up / Commissioning Project Stages

Maintain schedule during the project life cycle monitoring progress and incorporating modifications where changes in the original scope occur or delays are encountered

Utilize project cost estimates to resource load project schedules and gain alignment with estimated scope of work and the project schedule

Perform staffing density checks or staffing limitation checks to validate schedule durations and ensure resource-leveling supports the project strategy

Lead project managers and teams in forecasting schedule challenges and offer analyses and solutions to complete the project on schedule

Perform critical path analysis to determine problem areas in regards to project schedule and resource overloads and offer alternative courses of action to the project team

Evaluate project deviations to assess schedule impact for proper decision making and recovery plans

Work with cost management to gain alignment when forecasting schedule completion dates

Apply established schedule management practices to ascertain critical schedule issues and recommend corrective action
