John’s response only caused him to chuckle lightly. Arthur wouldn’t admit it but he was glad that John had come back to the gang. Sure, it also really pissed him off that John got nothing but a slap on the hand. But in the end, it was in the past.

Arthur huffed, sadly she did have a point. If Sadie hadn’t come when she did, who knows how that situation would’ve turned out. Arthur just didn’t like to owe favors to anyone. “Now don’t be lettin’ that get to yer head, we don’t need another Sean runnin’ around.”

Arthur nodded and took a drink, finishing his glass. But it was quickly replaced with another. “Nah… Someone else. Girl from a long time ago.” Even though it had been over four months ago, it still shocked Arthur that Misty had found him when she did. “What about ya though? How’d ya managed to make it out? I checked ya myself boy, ya were dead.”

“Well, if she’s your girl, I’d like to meet her sometime.”

He smiled before he tossed a coin to the bartender for another drink. He’d heard a little bit here and there about the gang…and with that he realized maybe it was time for him to go away on his own.

“Almost,it was close call. But a doctor found me. I was in pretty rough shape for a while. Then they was looking to ask me for information, so I got the hell out of there.”
