I made a hornetās nest with a speaker inside, bullet spots and motion sensor wired to a prop controller. Itās now hanging in the kidsā gameroom. I have to keep escalating to get a good startle out of them. (chicken wire, clay mache, spray foam, Roscoeās foam coat, some other Roscoeās product that was amazing too, real bug shells, fishing line for the bug shells, etcā¦)
Home-made motion-activated hornetās nest in the game room! Because I am funny that way. š
Vidclip 3. The goal: blunt force trauma impact splatter...
Vidclip 4
Working on āRobo-Bellaā today. I think she lives!!! š
Animatronics and basic machines: itās been almost two years since I did one of these. Iām rusty! Clearly I didnāt record it to muscle memory the last time I did this. ; )
Iāll use this to power the dummy (artificial stunt double) during the next fight scene. Simple wiper motor with speed controller which will attach to the dummy head/torso/arms sculpted from scrap foam from a sucky āselect comfortā mattress. Viola.
for fake Isabella, which makes perfect sense (I promise) āŗļø
it takes sooo much effort to be fake... but hereās a stab at it.
shooting before the storm
Aaaaand.....: it DID work! I do love when my ideas work. Onward!
I like pranks. And startle scares. My film team doesnāt know this, which gives me an edge (so fun: the family has long been desensitized)
Yep. We did this.
Afternoon tea at Ellenās in Dallasā West End Historic District.
