There are many runes from many places and times, take those you feel most comfortable with and those you think you have the greatest use for in your language.

Tips for learning runes.

Make it a part of you day.

Write diary and shopping lists with runes, make notes in runes

Just use the rune as it should be used, in writing.

Read, read a lot of books about them and read rune stones, if you live close to one, you go and translate it yourself if you do not live near a rune stone so you can find photos on them on google.
