"You’ve got a good point, but we’re not thinking about that right now, are we?" A smirk twitched upwards the very corners of her lips. Trying to keep on the up and up wasn’t easy, but stressing things was only adding to the pressure for her. "Truth - boring." she stated, neglecting to add that would have been her choice as well. "Hm… any embarrassing habits no one knows about? - and don’t say picking your nose, we’ve all seen you do that."

"If that's a rule for the game, then, alright. I've never been a rule-breaker, me," he replied easily, telling himself, 'Maybe, just this time, I can temporarily forget about everything that's wrong, which is, basically, everything.' "I'm still Head Boy. Wouldn't want that repuration tainted with embarrassing dares. At least not as early as the first question, anyway." He hadn't been close to Dorcas, never had been to any of the Ravenclaws--both current and past--but he wouldn't deny, she was quite alright. At least better than the other, snooty, rude ones. Not that he was polite towards the others himself, but, yeah... "Pff," he exhaled through his nose, "Really, have you? Been stalking the boy's lavatory, then, huh?" he joked before answering, "Embarrassing habits... Well, don't tell anyone, but... I tend to shriek when I see a rat."

"Some people like the attention being sick gets them. So no, not everyone shares the sentiment."

"Do you know anyone like that? We could do a few less pathetic people to admit there next time. So we could make room for those who would actually need it."

"I challenge you to forget everything that’s wrong for just five minutes - let’s play a game. Truth or dare?"

"I'd rather not try to fool myself into thinking things are okay, even for five minutes, because then it'd be even more disappointing when we have to go back to reality," he started, his usual grump soaring because of the strong stress they were under, "But what the heck. Bring it on, Meadowes. Truth?"

"I'm sure everyone shares that sentiment. Nobody ever wants to come back to that place once they're out."

"What do you mean they haven’t located her yet? What the hell are all these Order members doing standing around the castle when she is missing? She could be severely injured and we have fools more worried about what they are putting in their mouths.”

"It's not like they're just lying around, doing nothing, Lockhart. They're doing their best to find her."And you're here, sitting, whining about people who are eating, and being a total arse. Does that actually help in finding Karoonda?"

             ❝You can’t just decide to have late                practices now that I’m gone. I tried                to get those for three years, and                you said no every time. It’s just rude.❞

          Despite himself, he couldn't help the chuckle that slipped past his mouth upon hearing Daisy's complaint.

          "Why do you think we had those early practices in the first place?" he said with a faux serious face, secretly joking with Daisy. "They were especially for you, Daisy."

Hestia smirked and rolled her eyes once more a bit more playfully, “I’ll let you think that, but know that no one knows better then me.” She wasn’t a jokster like most of her friends, but she could have her moment when she let her guard down. She raised her brow at him, ”No one on the team is available to practice with you?” It was hard to believe considering the size of the team. Then when he suggested she join him her eyes widened. He was always doing this, but she wasn’t about to fall for it now either. She composed herself, ”Amos I’m not a player you’d beat me hands down no competition which hardly can classify as practice on your half. Even going easy on me would only be a disservice to you, which I would never want to do to you. You’re far too good of a player for that. ” She used her logic and reasoning, and hoped the bit of flatter would aid her to avoid what he clearly wanted. She was forever trying to escape recruitment. She loved to fly, but she did not like the sport. “I can sit on my broom and hover while cheering you on however if it’ll make you feel better.” She smiled gracefully at him.

          Shaking his head, Amos said, "Oh, come on, Hestia. Don't burst my bubble here. Can we just pretend that I did an amazing Gwen impression there? I was thinking of making that my career after I graduate," he joked. Waving his hand extravagantly, he finished, "Amos Diggory, the great impersonator." And then, right after realizing how silly he was being, he shook his head, mumbling, "Dreams, dreams, dreams."

          "Anyway," he said as a way to veer them off that topic. "I know what you're doing, and normally, flattery might work on me. But I am seriously bored out of my mind. Alright then, if you don't want to play, we don't have to play. Just pass me the ball or just fly. Whatever's good. I don't like the fact that the pitch is too big for a lone flyer." If she wasn't going to let him do the recruiting here, maybe then he could just ask her the reason why she gave such a weird reaction to him last summer when he visited the Jones' to talk to Gwen, and ended up mentioning to their dad that he was recruiting Hestia as well. Gwenog had never mentioned anything to him about her parents' opinion on her being part of the team. As her Captain, it mattered to him.

"Oh-kay...It's nice to see you, too, Daisy."

"Oh, it’s you…with that girlish figure you’re sporting, I took you for a bird. Well, if you aren’t already having nightmares, surely our last encounter was not effective enough."

          "If my figure is girlish, then what is yours, troll-ish?" Amos scoffed, but then his eyebrows met in the middle of his forehead in confusion, not sure what Dolohov was talking about. "Oh, you meant the last time I passed by and caught a glimpse of your face? I had to stare at a pony for hours after that happened to rid my memories of your ugliness."

"Do you need something, love? You’ve been staring so long it’s beginning to get a bit creepy."

"Don't ever call me 'love'. I don't want to be bombarded by nightmares when I sleep tonight."

Hestia was taken back by the irritating sound of the voice wondering what in Merlins name they were trying to accomplish. Was that supposed to be a Gwen imitation? It took her a moment to realize who’s voice it actually belonged too. She merely stepped forward rolling her eyes and crossing her arms, “Very amusing Amos, but I think we both know you need a little more pep to mimic my sister.” She smirked. “Are you done playing games?” Normally she’d be a bit irritated by the gesture, but this was Amos so she knew he was only joking with her.

          Knowing full well that what Hestia was saying was entirely true, Amos merely shrugged his shoulders and feigned confusion. "Dunno what you're saying. My immitation was as perfect as one can be." Truth be told, Amos still had no idea when Hestia was actually joking about being irritated or being serious about it. So, naturally, he just pretended she was kidding all of the time. And then when she whacks him in the head by a book, that was when he would know she was being serious. "If you mean playing games like Quidditch. No, I'm not done yet. I'm kind of waiting for a practice partner here. I don't have a partner today. Wanna take pity on me and play a one-on-one match?"

    In a bit of a mood, admittedly, though Dorcas hadn’t meant to come off as anything other than sarcastic, she could easily see how it could have been mistaken. Turning slightly from her post sitting upon the ledge indian style, she let one leg drop back against the landing as she rubbed her hands together before folding them in her lap. "Amos Diggory. You mean the sort of exhaustion that constantly woke you from deep sleep soaked in sweat? Would you believe me if I said that makes two of us?" Feigning seriousness in her expression for but a few seconds before the smile fell to her lips, plenty indication that she was kidding around. "What brings you to Diagon Alley, anyways? Not abusing those Head Boy privileges, are you?"

          The words just came out his mouth like all the other ones did--without abandon and thought as to how it would sound. The sarcasm tainted his voice easily like a brush stroking the surface of a canvas. In the back of his mind, he felt like he was being too mean when Dorcas had never actually done anything to him to merit the rudeness he gave everyone who had done something irritating to him. But as the words rolled out of his tongue, he wasn't able to close his mouth and prevent them from tumbling down. "No. The kind that makes we want to just hang a noose up here," he pointed up the piece of wood that ran horizontally in one corner, "And then hang myself in it," there was even a slight smile that decorated the end of his sentence. And it was after he had said that, that he realized that was too harsh. "Huh. Dunno where that came from. Sorry if that sounded too harsh. I'm just exhausted. No offense." Somehow, even though he meant it, it squeezed his chest to let the words go. It wasn't because he thought that Dorcas didn't deserve a respectful conversation. No, Dorcas was actually one of the Ravenclaws he didn't think as snooty and irritating. It was just the fact that he had been used to being grumpy and rude to everyone lately that swerving away from that habit felt like he was offending himself. "Privileges are there to abuse, aren't they? Besides, I wouldn't say no to a breath of fresh air away from Hogwarts every now and again. How about you? Shouldn't you be at work or something?"

"Thats a brilliant idea. Then i could make a little maze out of the plants here. Like, you know the standard corn mazes, but instead i could use giant dandelions. Wouldn’t that be pretty spectacular? Though, children might start blowing on them and making wishes, ridding the seeds. That would ruin the overall allure that shrouds dandelions. Hm, decisions decisions."

           Amos couldn't help the smile that decorated his face the moment Tilden ranted off about planting tons of plants in the park. Out of everything that could change, this one was something Amos wished never would. He couldn't imagine a day that Tilden would just stop talking about plants. When Amos heard the problems that would arise if the other man planted dandelions, though, Amos couldn't help the next words that came out of his mouth, "Plant giant daisies then. We both know you'd plan on planting dandelions, but at the end of the day, you'll realize it was daisies you planted. You just won't be able to help yourself," he ended the statement with a knowing look thrown at Tilden.

"What can i say? I’m even a sucker for the ones that serve me no matter how far fetched the command i give them."

          He shook his head, no longer able to fathom just how odd Lockhart was being. "I thought I already knew how odd you were, but here you are, proving me wrong. I don't even want to know what kind of fantasies you have at night. I don't wish to be scarred that much."

"Yeah, well, I've never seen you do it in public, without being forced to. That or I've previously not cared enough to check."
