josuke snarled before giving her an answer, he looked indignant nonetheless. “——oi, oi, i thought we moved on from that! aren’t we friends?” at least, that’s what he thought. was it wrong for him to assume such thing when she was dating one of his best friends? besides, this was what koichi wanted… he remembered him mention how she didn’t seem to have any friends.
he was willing to try—only for koichi, putting aside that attitude of hers that made his brows furrow in anger. a deep breath was taken and josuke patiently waited for her answer. of course, it was going to be another snarly comment. he rolled his eyes at that.

the word ‘lonely’ settled in her weirdly. of course she wasn’t lonely! she had koichi. not with her physically right now, but the thought of him coming back to japan soon was enough to reassure her. surely all it did was leave a gap in her day where it was usually reserved for him, but keeping herself busy was all it took, right?
