Born in May 1988 Daniel grew up as Song Dong Gil the eldest son of two was raised by his grandparents until the age of seven where both he and his brother were relocated to soul with there mother in Seoul, South Korea.  In Seoul, his music ability was seen by many as he preformed with his brother on the streets to earn money for new bikes. Both were scouted by a then forming label called VV Entertainment, and debuted in the successful boy band S.T. Crew. 

Fan favorite and instant hit in the late 90’s, Daniel has been the become the nation’s icon. In 2003, the group disbanded and Daniel went into acting before debuting musically in 2006. After that, he began focusing on producing and coaching the new idol generation. It humored to be having a solo album coming out due to his signing to CMH Entertainment.
