Do you ever have issues with tumblr's compression when you post your work? any tips?

Nope I don't! When I export my photos out of Adobe Lightroom I restrict the file size to 10MB (max. allowable file size for Tumblr) so Tumblr doesn't compress my photos and they maintain their high quality and color profile 🙌😊

What’s a good quality camera for a beginner that’s not too pricey?

I would recommend the Canon T5 or the Canon T6!
