Ah, hello! You're another patient here? I'm Komaeda Nagito. Nice to meet you...

“So many…” Komaeda sighed to himself, but managed to give a smile that could pass as cheery. “Anyway, I’m Komaeda Nagito. Thanks for coming to my room.” He couldn’t think of much else to say. Should he drive them away towards others? Or should he give actually accepting the fact that he had visitors a shot?
Komaeda was smiling, but the grin soon dropped. How did she figure it out so easily? So quickly? He looked down, his eyes seeming a bit darker than they were before. “…Aha…Nanami-san, it’s not like it matters anyway. What good will the medicine do? I’ll feel fine for a...
It appalled him that Nanami would even bother wasting her breath to tell him that he was wrong. Komaeda frowned, glancing down at his lap them back towards her.
"Bad luck..." He muttered, mostly to himself, but he said it out loud anyway. "I...guess that you're right about it being bad luck, but...if it didn't happen to me, if I wasn't attacked, it still could have happened to someone else and possibly worse, Nanami-san!" He could only hope his explanation could quell her frustration with him.
"I'm sorry about my negativity towards myself, but if I'm not hard on myself, then my motivation to help other people will disappear completely. If you think about it..." Komaeda trailed off, his brows furrowing. There wasn't many a time when he was lost for words, and one of those coincidences was at that moment.
“I was suggested? Trash like me…?” Komaeda laughed, sitting up a bit to make himself more comfortable. His legs were burning terribly. Maybe he needed to get up and walk more often. “If you really want to talk to me, I won’t stop you. I’m Komaeda Nagito, by the way. Nice to...
Komaeda still couldn't get over the fact that someone suggested him for a visit. Well, it was a surprise, but at the same time not. Komaeda didn’t have any family to look forward to seeing, not that he knew of anyway. So, a random visitor or two wasn’t anything to be shocked by. Unless, of course, you were Komaeda. He didn’t quite understand why anyone would want to come visit someone like him.
“Just because they suggested it, doesn’t mean you have to stay here with me, Fujisaki-san… You should visit some of the others. They deserve it a whole lot more than I do!” His tone was surprisingly cheery, despite the look in his eyes. "Please have a seat! It'll make you more comfortable!"
“Not used to what…?” Komaeda have his head a slight tilt, a smile appearing on his lips. “So what’s your name? I’m Komaeda Nagito…”
To people who care about me she was tempted to say, but settled for „Many visitors“, instead. It’s true, too, and not burdening him with...
Komaeda released a small laugh. "I'm not used to a lot of them either. When I get them, I'll make sure to direct them to you instead, Ikusaba-san!" A smiled flashed across his face and he shifted his position. Normally, he would reach up and relax his left hand on his other arm, but there was none there to do so.
"Ah, so... What injuries brought you here? If you don't mind me asking, of course!" It would be...interesting to find out what happened to each patient in the hospital. This might help Komaeda better understand how to talk with them or what they might be thinking. The small personal mission would also give him something to do while he waited for his injuries to heal.

“Good morning! Ah, I didn’t mean to scare you or anything! Do you want me to leave?”
„..I.. I am not scared.“ At least not of you. Of many others things by now, yes, but this male didn’t seem like a threat. In fact, nobody here did. It was.. an odd feeling. „Good morning to you, too. I.. no, please stay, I just.. am not used to this.“
"Not used to what...?" Komaeda have his head a slight tilt, a smile appearing on his lips. "So what's your name? I'm Komaeda Nagito..."
“Good morning. Can I help you find someone? I’m sure you’re not here to visit me!”
“Ah, well, no… I wasn’t here to visit you in particular, but… they suggested I go have a chat with you.” That was a lie- he wanted to see why people wanted to make him wary of this man.
"I was suggested? Trash like me...?" Komaeda laughed, sitting up a bit to make himself more comfortable. His legs were burning terribly. Maybe he needed to get up and walk more often. "If you really want to talk to me, I won't stop you. I'm Komaeda Nagito, by the way. Nice to meet you..."
Komaeda looked at the stump of a hand he had. No. No, his hand was just there, he could have sworn it. He could still feel it there. His fingers and his knuckles moving. He lowered his arm and ran the fingers he did have through his hair as he gazed away from Nanami….
Komaeda was smiling, but the grin soon dropped. How did she figure it out so easily? So quickly? He looked down, his eyes seeming a bit darker than they were before. "...Aha...Nanami-san, it's not like it matters anyway. What good will the medicine do? I'll feel fine for a while and then..." He laughed, shaking his head. When did he become so cynical. Maybe it was when he saw his parents die before his eyes. Or maybe it was after he was kidnapped.
"And then...something bad will happen to me. Then something good. I want to leave everything alone. Do you ever think that things happen for a reason? Maybe this happens to me so it won't happen to someone else. And if that's the case, it makes me happy..."
Wow! All these patients are very…
hospitable!

G-Good morning.
"Good morning. Can I help you find someone? I'm sure you're not here to visit me!"
“At least you’re making some…progress, right?” Komaeda furrowed his brows, immediately worried about the girl. Seeing someone like this was utterly heartbreaking. “Me? I’m fine.” He lifted his left arm to wave off the question, but the action told it all.

He lowered his arm and ran the fingers he did have through his hair as he gazed away from Nanami. "I'll be fine though. I deserve what happened to me anyway, so why would it even matter?"
With those words, it had become obvious he hadn't been taking his medication. But he figured he didn't need it. There wasn't anything wrong with him, right? Right?!
WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?
"On my planet? I'd like to go to a ship graveyard at least once. I want to see the beautiful, decaying ships that sailed once. Only a little remains to them! I'd like to maybe lightly research what happened to them."
“It’s nice to see all of you. But, you can leave now if visiting me’s an inconvenience. I didn’t think so many people would come to see me of all people!”
At that comment, her eyebrows furrowed. “Komaeda-kun… I managed to sneak out…...

At that comment, her eyebrows furrowed. “Komaeda-kun… I managed to sneak out… to come here. It… is like putting a game… on expert mode without… experience,” Chiaki commented, inching herself to a chair and sitting beside his bed.
"Nanami-san... You shouldn't have come in your condition, but if it makes you happy..." He smiled. "Stay... Is your condition improving at all? You're talking pretty well!"
