“I came across a quote the other day. It read, “Saying you have too many sins to repent is like saying you’re too dirty to take a shower.” Water is strong enough to wash away all dirt, no matter how much. But we doubt God’s mercy.”
— Yasmin Mogahed
“And if a person was given the world and everything it contains, it would still not fill the emptiness.”
— Ibn al Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah
“Ya Allah make me among those who never miss Fajr. Ameen.”

The beauty of Islam is that nothing is wasted, nothing is meaningless.
*Giving some water to a thirsty homeless animal can wipe out all your past sins.
*Birds and animals eating from plants you grow in your garden is a charity.
*A compassionate touch on an orphan’s head is appreciated by Allah.
*A smile and a good word are praised.
*Putting a morsel in your wife’s mouth is a righteous deed.
*Cherishing your own family is a charity.
*Honouring you parents is highly estimated and rewarded.
*Even your pains, physical and emotional, great and small, nothing of them is wasted or meaningless, all are counted and compensated.
This is the nature of having a trade with Allah, The Most Generous.
Good to be a Muslim! Alhamdulillah!
Some flowers grow best in the sun while others grow best in the shade. Allah knows us best, so He puts us where we grow best.

When you get married, make the intention that you are doing to please your Creator, it’s the Sunnah and you want to complete half of your deen. When you will have kids, you will teach them the best of manners and make them follow the commands of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and Allah Apostle (Peace be upon him). In shaa Allah

Bismillah, Allahu Akbar Alhamdulillah, Subhanallah, Astaghfirullah. Simple words, great meanings.

When you need someone to comfort you, remember that Allah is near and Allah is the best Comforter.

Oh Allah, let my death only reach me when you have forgiven my sins and you are pleased with me. Ameen!

I miss Islam so much.
I miss salaah. I miss the masjid and the call to prayer. I miss the shuffle of bare feet against carpets that are perfectly aligned to Makkah. I miss the Qur’an. I miss the gorgeous recitation of the words of Allah subhana wa ta’ala. I miss the surahs that speak to my heart, at the perfect time, at the perfect place. I miss that feeling — that indescribable one when the Qur’an is played. I miss the Ummah. I miss the unity and wearing hijab with other sisters who make me feel strong, secure, and beautiful. I miss saying Asalaamu’alaikum as I pass another Muslim.
I’ve been so far for too long. And astaghfirullah, it happens too often.
But each time, Allah subhana wa ta’ala hears me and He grasps my heart, placing it right where it needs to be: in sujood.
