I’ve had a guy follow me for 2 blocks making inappropriate comments about me, until he eventually caught up to me, and saw my beard, and realised I’m a man. His response to that was to threaten to kill me for “tricking him”.  People who catcall are fully prepared to threaten violence in many cases. There’s a reason most people just keep walking.
