Listen. I've had a long day. I was at uni all day, except for that one shift I had at the hospital, it's 30°C outside.

I was ready to get into bed, honest. I only planned on using my phone for 30 minutes max.

But then, I opened Tumblr.

And now ... It's been 2 hours.

I regret nothing.

Here's a little advice for next time : when you start a fanfic, immediately click on the button to view all chapters at once. Do it even if you think there's no risk of AO3 going down, it needs to become a reflex. This way, if you're in the middle of a multi-chaptered fic, AO3 being down won't hurt you as badly.

I'm currently happily reading a 96 chapters long fic I started before AO3 went down ; while my sister is crying in the room next to mine because she's stuck on chapter 18 out of 19, so let's hope this piece of advice helps some of you in those dark troubling times.

Don't be like my sis. Use AO3 smartly.

Like I'm trying to filter out Attack on Titan fanfics, but all the tags I have are about Lovecraft and Cthlhu mythos ?

And when I click on sort and filter, no matter what kind of filters I put, I'm redirected to an author who only writes for Miraculous Ladybug.

That's ???? So far from what I asked for ?

Update : I tried several things, the problem seems to be centered around the language option and "Other tags to include". If you use the checkboxes and "Sort by", it still works fine. Just avoid the rest for now, I guess 🤷‍♀️
