“Maybe I will consider that if plan A didn’t worked out.” Amy shrugged, stifling out a soft laugh. The girl intertwined her fingers as she waited for the other to make out an order. After listening to what the other girl, she nodded. “I, personally, order iced latte but the caramel macchiato is splendid.

As he saw her expression change for a bit, he sucked at his teeth with annoyance. He kind of felt like hitting himself for not leaving. He was already tired and cranky and definitely not in the mood to chat up with Amy, but he figured it too late now. “Yes, tea. I’d say the size of your heart, but I’d prefer to actually get something, so tall will do.” He says, faking a smile as well.

Amy simply rolled her eyes of his attempt to even make her feel something except irritation. She wanted him to leave but apparently she couldn’t push him out since he was a customer and the pay from the job helped her mom a lot. “Actually, we do have something with that size but its not available.” She smiled. “And sure thing, that would be seven dollars.”

Hojin peers into the lens of the handheld camcorder through his fringe, flicking it out of his eyes by a swift movement of his head. “This is where I had my first kiss.” He says, his tone laced with sadness. “What if I don’t ever kiss anyone again? What if─” His eyes flicker to the person standing on the rocks behind him, who is barely visible in the frame of the camera. “God damnit.” He presses the button ending the recording, slams the viewfinder shut, and turns around to glare at the intruder of his shot. “Uh, excuse me? I’m trying to document my final hours, and you’re in my shot.”

Amy had come to the place where she felt at peace with herself. She’s rather okay and content at home but being with alone was a different kind of peace. As she closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, she could hear unnecessary noise that made her scrunch her nose. The girl turned to the source of the sound and she saw a boy filming himself. Films were great, art even, but this was something different and it was ridiculous. Her eyebrows knitted together as she watched the other being over-emotional about what appears to be the place where he head his first kiss. Hearing a curse, she knew that he already saw her via camera. “I don’t really give a crap about your shot. What you’re doing is ridiculous. Who would watch you be so emotional about this place?” She stated. “Besides, I was here first. You’re practically disturbing my peace.”

“I don’t know. I’ve just never really liked the taste of it. I only drink it when I don’t get enough sleep and have to be awake for a long day or I have a long drive or something. I think it tastes gross, but I only drink it to wake up,” he told her. “Good to know. I’m sure it’ll turn out fine though.”

“Gross? It doesn’t taste gross. You have weird taste buds, my friend.” She stated as she punched the order that he wanted. “Coffee is life. Coffee is everything. If I had to marry coffee, I would, but then books come in first then coffee.” Shrugging, she finalized everything. “I mean, yeah, you just put ice on tea and that’s pretty much it. Its on the house.”

It had been quite the busy day for Junho so far. Having had practice early in the morning and a lecture right after that. He was kind of exhausted but needed to get some schoolwork done, so he had decided to go to the coffee shop to get some stuff done. With his laptop tucked under his arm he walks up to the bar and looks over the menu. “I’ll just have- Oh. Right. I forgot you work here.” He said and debated leaving in his head, but his stubborn mind refused to. “Just tea for me. Whatever custom blend you have.”

A deep sigh came out of her mouth. The last person that she wanted to see a this time was in the cafe. Somehow, her face quickly turned into an annoyed expression but she immediately switched it back up to her fake smile. Amy had to be professional, at least, in her own workplace. The girl was trying her best not to comment about what he said. “Tea? Any specific size?” She asked through gritted teeth.

having just stepped out of her psychology lecture and having the rest of the day to herself, chey realised she was in need of some coffee to keep her going. so she walked up to the coffee shop across the street from her lecture theater and pushed open the door to which it rang. before she barely had a chance to grasp her new surroundings, she was greeted by a woman with a warm, friendly voice. slightly taken aback, chey stumbled backwards. ❝ woah erm hi there ! ❞ she recovered, resting her hand over her chest. ❝ you shocked me there ! but i appreciate your energy ! if i could just have a moment to decide though, is that okay ? ❞

As soon the ring of the bell, her head sprung up seeing a fresh face. Amy’s eyebrows perked up as she watched the other react to her warm welcome. If she reacted like that then Amy’s doing a pretty good job acting like it. “Really? Thanks, I should be an actress.” She shrugged. “But yeah, sure, no one’s behind you right now so take your time.” She nodded, smiling at the girl. This was the most times that she’d smiled the whole week and it was only Wednesday.

“I know, I know,” he said, laughing a bit too. “To be fair though, some cafes serve teas. I didn’t know whether y’all were one of them or not. Iced passion tea, huh? I think I’ve had that once or twice in the past and it was pretty good. I’m sure it’ll be good anyway.”

"Yeah, but still,” She trailed off, “cafes mostly serve coffee. Besides, what’s the deal with you and coffee anyway? Bad experience?” She queried, shifting her weight on her other foot. “The iced passion tea here is divine but I’m not really a fan. It better be good because I’m the one who’s gonna make it.”

meera didn’t usually go to fancy coffee shops - coffee kept her up and she didn’t need to be awake longer than she should be. but she’d been having trouble staying awake during class, and figured she’d need some caffeine to stay awake. “hi, uhm. i don’t - i don’t really know much about coffee? can you recommend something, maybe?” meera asked.

A sigh escaped her lips. Store policy said  (  more like her policy )  that employees should recommend newcomers the best sellers. Naturally, Amy was the type of person who would go for the least ordered food just for the heck of it. Also, saying different beverages aside from the best sellers was mentally exhausting she basically lived on coffee. “I would recommend the iced latte? Its a bit of a personal preference but I assure you that its delicious.” She said with a smile.

converse slapped against the pavement as pandora sprinted down the street, adrenaline coursing through her veins. she stopped for a moment at the corner to catch her breath, giving a quick glance behind her shoulder; a sense of relief washed over her as she saw the police that had been chasing her mistakenly run in the wrong direction looking for her. the tiny blonde’s attention then turned to her current surroundings- where someone was standing right in front of her, where they would have been witness to the entire ordeal. “only a bit of political graffiti,” pandora’s voice was still raspy and breathless as she tried to reassure the person standing with her that she wasn’t a terrible criminal, “you won’t tell anyone, will you?”

Her mom was working late again since the one who should be changing shifts with her didn’t show. Of course, it was automatic that Amy did the chores. So, here she was, just came out of the store, an ice cream on her right and a paper bag on her left. She would’ve borrowed her mom’s crappy car but walking seemed like a good idea at that time. Turning to her usual shortcut home, Amy saw the other of what looked like they ran and now they’re panting. She took a bite on the cone as she arched an eyebrow. “I’m not exactly asking but okay.” Amy shrugged, taking a step but stopped when the girl spoke again. “Why would I even tell?”

Dakota walked along the streets, looking for somewhere to get a quick drink. He noticed a coffee shop with a name that sounded familiar to him, but he couldn’t remember why. He walked inside and glanced at the menu, shaking his head at everything that was up there and decided to just ask if they had something that wasn’t coffee. He went up to the counter and looked up at the menu again. “Well, Amy,” he said, looking back down at her and leaning up against the counter. “Do y’all have tea or is it just coffee? I’m not really a coffee fan.” Leave it to Dakota to walk into a coffee shop even though he didn’t like coffee.

Raising her eyebrows in question, Amy placed her left hand on the counter and the other on her hip. The guy j "Its funny how you came in a cafe, which is a place that serves coffee, and you’re not a coffee person.” She pointed out, letting out a chuckle. “But we do have iced passion tea if that’s what you’re going for. Not really my type but I guess it could be yours? Its like 19 dollars but I’m sure you can handle it.” She stated.

For once, Amy sighed with content. Everything that was school related was done; three thousand word essays and all. Now, she was working in the coffee shop, waiting for customers, since her class starts later than usual. Reading a book, she heard a ding and she immediately put her book down and put a slightly faked smile on her lips.“Good day, what will you have?”

im always late for the opening damn son. but hey! im princess. im 19, she/her. this here is my bby amy. amy is a bit of a recluse and a bit cold at first. she doesnt warm up to people easily. she could get a bit blunt too but once you’ve passed all that ice, probs she would be an absolute nerd. she’s korean and was born and raised in korea but moved to cape cod bcs father’s job.
