NEW EVENTS NEW EVENTS ! alright it’s amy’s first full trimester at legacy so let’s get it going!! i’m not signing her up for future dreams because she is screaming at me not to and i don’t hate her! so for right now she is looking for threads for DREAM TEAM LEGACY she is on TEAM BLACK (with actors and other female trainees) so let me know if you’d like to do any threads! i’d like to do the two threads one cause i’m all for maxing out possible points. and so she can get into both mazes!
i’d also love some more connections for her, so if anyone is in need of something lmk! this will be updated as new things come along.
Yuzhuo slipped into the maze, silently observing her surroundings with a cursory camera check. Just as she was about to settle in her find-an-empty-corner-and-sleep-until-she-finds-someone-who-can-give-her-hints plan, she felt someone, one of the girls in her team, grab onto her arm and run towards the middle of the maze. So much for her initial plan. She narrates their journey along the way, may as well give production something other than shaky camerawork to work with.
Anyways, in true mirror maze fashion, they get separated. At what point do they get separated, Yuzhuo’s not entirely sure: apparently she got stuck with the rule stickler camera crew who wouldn’t tell her the time, even if she did technically do them a favour with free content.
“We have finally found the edge of the maze then. How do I know?” She pointed at a camera up in the corner, “These cameras were only present at the start of the maze and the passages along the sides of it.” Some footsteps. “Oh and we have more people appearing, let’s see if I can get infor- oh name tag? Need mine? Sure, take it.”
And that’s how Yuzhuo ended up in jail. Not her greatest moment. At least she found out the time, a total of three minutes so far into the mission. So in the (surprisingly nice) jail she sat, munching on the provided snacks as she failed again and again to roll matching dice. Then strolls in her teammate. Yuzhuo silently watches from the production crew floor area as the girl misses again and again. Seeing the girl growing gradually more and more frustrated, she finally got off the floor, offering some of the popcorn she stole acquired from her camera team.
“Mhm,” she agreed. Yuzhuo stretched out her hand with the popcorn bag. “Want one?”
amy was not meant for jail and it was very rapidly making her go insane. she wasn’t sure how long she’d been in here and how much more time she had to waste here. all she for sure was that these dice had to be rigged to never land correctly.
“huh” amy finally drew her attention from the dice to see popcorn being offered confusion clear on her face and in her face. snacks?? at a time so important, she knew she had no time to eat. but pure confusion at the act and the very presence of snacks in what she thought was a punishment, she wonders aloud: "they give us food in jail?”
shaking her head in to reset her brain, she turns back to the floor and dice, throwing it once again. “but no i do not want one. we have to get out of here!” she fails more. “statistically i should have gotten doubles at least once by now“ she huffed to no one in particular, exasperated and tired of this dumb challenge.
her dream roles have always been more serious than this, but it would be a lie to say she never wanted to be a spy, like one of those in animations and movies she used to watch when she was young, so her eyes widen in surprise and slight excitement when she enters the laser maze with her team. too bad she’s wearing a tracksuit instead of a cute catsuit for this moment.
she is rarely wrong, but it only takes her a couple of seconds to realize the game is not as simple as she judged it would be. jieun could be flexible and calm for this kind of thing, but she wasn’t playing alone and wasn’t count with… surprises. frozen in a weird position, she blinks up. “what?” the girl murmurs under her breath.
with a lot of effort and concentration, she manages to look back at @amyxlgc so they could try and come up with a plan. “do you think you can reach the switch?” jieun asks, hoping for a positive answer because she will lose balance soon. “no no wait! let’s come up with a plan first. how long do you think we have to run before they change directions again?”
first game hadn’t gone exactly how amy planned, but she was determined to make up for any lost ground with her team in the second! the lazers were definitely different from the first maze and amy had never been known for her flexibility—but she had speed on her side. she was ducking and diving past lasers at a rapid speed, narrowly avoiding getting sent to jail again, with a face full of determination. she had to win this round. she knew her screen time was based on how entertaining she was not whether she won...but her competitive spirit was not going to let her lose.
a familiar look of determination on her face. but freezes the second jieun calls out for her to stop. "i have no idea!” amy “uh...uh” she struggles to recall the directions of the game, “i think we have a few minutes still” she guessed hesitantly. she only had to duck her head slightly while stepping carefully over to avoid the next set of bright red in her path. at least she had a fairly small frame so there was less to run into a laser accidentally. making her way close to jieun, she grabbed the other’s hand. seeing as her...assertiveness in the last maze hadn’t panned out completely well, she tries to take a less aggressive tone when suggesting, “let’s try going for the switch together? if at least one of us can make it to the switch, the whole team can cross.”

DREAM TEAM LEGACY SEASON 3 co-starring @lgcyuzhuo
it’s amy’s first time at dream team and she is here to impress. as soon as she’s out of the gate, she running past everyone. she has grabbed her partner by the arm (who she has barely interacted with besides some pleasantries, but that’s not an issue in amy’s mind, the only issue is win) and is dragging the poor girl with her. she’s not exactly sure when she loses the girl she started this with, but that’s also not an issue. if she could just finish this maze and move on to whatever horrors they’ve cooked up for them next she would be fine. so focused, she’s immediately caught off guard by a horrifying looking person, she falls right onto the floor and they steal her name tag. shit.
“this is...well it’s garbage!” she exclaims, barely catching herself before she can curse, she’s yelling at the ground. continuing to roll furiously, she gets 5s and 4s and 6s but never a perfect pair. she just wants to be out running and winning. after yet another unsuccessful roll, “are these things rigged!?” she yells once again, head up looking up at the ceiling of the jail, fists waving dramatically in the air. this time at who knows. the staff, god, herself maybe—that was anyone’s guess.
kang dohyun and schoolwork simply didn’t go hand in hand very well. and this wasn’t much of a surprise to anyone given the fact he didn’t spend much of his time actually doing any studying and would much rather spend his time in front of his computer playing pubg. unfortunately, if he wanted to actually pass and not get kicked out of school or held back, he actually had to try and do his homework. usually, however, he ended up giving up and going to find amy to get her to help him out.
which was exactly what was going on then, the two of them in a quiet corner with dohyun’s maths textbooks strewn out on the table in front of him. “why is it so hard?” he whined, rather dramatically flopping forward and resting his head on one of his closed textbooks. “when am i ever going to need algebra in real life anyway?” half the stuff he learned in maths he was certain he was never actually going to have any use for in his life. but his stupid teachers still seemed to think it was really important that he knew this stuff.
amy didn’t not play when it came to studying...or in general. some could call her boring, she liked calm and collected. she likes books and the evolution of skirts through decades and ballads. more importantly, she liked being the best. she couldn’t sit right if she wasn’t actively doing something to further herself and her goals. and teaching was actually a pretty effective way to help her learn, so she didn’t mind helping dohyun out. usually he wasn’t too much of distraction and the company was nice in of itself. usually.
not looking up from the biology textbook she was set on reading, a highlighter in one hand and a pen in the other, jotting down notes as she needed, she turned a page before responding to him. “understanding algebra has been known to increase critical thinking skills, logic, and problem solving in many different studies. all things needed in, ‘the real world’” she added air quotes with her fingers. “but if you are looking for an answer applicable to now: you need to pass this class or you will have to do another year. do you really want to another year juggling training and homework?” this was a question she was asking herself often, whether she wanted to continue after graduation to college or put all of herself into training.
what are your muse’s current goals and motivations? (110 words)
amy really wants to be a model. she likes singing, can enjoy dancing, but modeling and design are where her heart lies. her motivations really come from her type a, girl boss mindset. she can’t allow herself to fail, it’s simply not in her vocabulary. that fear is what keeps her up late every night. also her mother. either she’s studying until 4 am to make her mother happy, or she’s practicing until 4am to make sure she doesn’t prove her mother right. she wants to do good and debut and show the world that she is worth it...but she needs her mother to be a part of that crowd.
do you think your muse has accomplished any of their goals mentioned above? if so, how did they do it? if not, what do you think could help them accomplish that goal?
no. though she qualifies, i decided to pass on moving her in the model path, simply because she’s not ready. while she’s been with legacy for almost two years, she’s still young and in high school and wants to finish that before jumping into a career path. from an out of character point of view, i think she deserves to have a full trimester in the default path to establish some connections and roots in legacy, before heading into a career path. she needs to know for sure this is what she wants before she commits to it full time. with the next trimester, i hope she’ll be able to spend time focusing on what she really loves rather than having to worry over not being up to perform since her singing and dancing skills aren’t on the level of others.
describe one significant memory that has happened to your muse during this trimester (positive or negative). (113 words)
this thread, where she confronts another trainee about bad attitudes. she’s been pretty passive when it comes to drama while training. she sees training as work and at work she has to be professional. but the family concert was hard on her and the pressure was too much for her and she had a moment. it’s not like her to be confrontational at all, but it happens. it does show a bit of her immaturity and another reason i don’t believe she’s ready to jump into the modeling path, yet. honestly, it was important to happen now rather than have something build up over time and she explodes in front of a coach.
what is one thing you (as the mun) have learned about your muse throughout this trimester?
it feels like yesterday she was accepted, so it’s hard to say! one thing i didn’t think about when i was writing her pages and her application was how hard it has been on her spirits to be in the default idol path, when she knows that isn’t what she wants. i think part of why she doesn’t have many friends in training (at least me trying to get an in character reason) is because she’s shy and she doesn’t feel she really belongs. the vast majority of trainees want to be idols and be on stage...but amy doesn’t. she likes photoshoots and behind the scenes and production, not dancing or even music all that much. plus, being younger has to be incredibly isolating. she’s stuck between two worlds and is really having to grapple with what is more of a priority: school and the “real world” or a dream, the chance at a legacy.
indy is nervous, and to combat nerves, he works through them.
afraid he’ll stumble over lines or steps come the day of the concert? he’ll practice until he can do it in his sleep. that’s the goal, anyway. he knows he might need to put in more work than most, because he learns slowly. it feels like he always starts from behind the others, but indy is patient. he has faith that with determination and consistent work, he’ll be ready in time. he hopes so, anyway.
he tries not to entertain thoughts of failure. instead, he tries to entertain himself. despite the urge to work until he’s satisfied with his progress, which he knows will take a long time, he reminds himself to take breaks. it’s what his parents would tell him if they were here instead of back home in australia, a sea away.
dancing at all still kind of counts as practice, but if he doesn’t practice the performances that circulate in his mind 24/7 now, it counts as a break too. it is, as hannah montana would say, the best of both worlds. he doesn’t want to lose the free feeling he gets when he dances, even if it’s now something he’s obligated to do, so sometimes he just dances to whatever he wants. it helps him loosen up– shake out any nerves and clear his head when he starts overthinking.
it’s what he does now, until someone interrupts him. it isn’t unwelcome, though, and he smiles. “i’m just dancing!” he replies. “not really practicing anything…” hopefully she doesn’t think poorly of him for it. “it’s kind of a mix between taking a break and still practicing, i guess,” and he still smiles, although it’s a little sheepishly now.
“are you doing freestyle or is it choreography?” she wondered, walking over so she was closer to the boy so they could have a proper conversation. she sang to herself mindlessly all the time, but dance always involved effort. it was enjoyable, but it was never something that came naturally. “i’ve never thought dancing could be a break” she gave a light sheepish laugh.
“would you have time to show me some moves?” she asked politely. when she wasn’t close with someone, she usually went overboard on politeness. “i’ll admit i’m not the best dancer...” she said timidly. “but i’m trying to do better!” amy insisted. it wasn’t on high her list of priorities but she liked being good at things.
the family concert was an exciting event for bitna to partake in. there were still a thousand unanswered questions that she had in her head. one important one, was whether or not she will continue on the idol path or take the modeling one. both path would equally benefit her in the future but the idol had more perks. but this is a problem for future bitna to worry about. tonight her focus was on getting bang to be performance ready.
combing her hands through her loose curls, bitnes let out a sigh. she wasn’t pushing herself too hard tonight. it was more of spotting than a full out rehearsal for her. even with a room full of trainees her eyes kept going towards amy. her screw ups was irriating to watch, and bitna had other plans tonight. being here pass 2AM was not one of them. instead of staying quiet, she decided to voice her opinion.
did this girl really think that using honorific in such a hasty tone was going to make the situation all better? bitna’s eyes beam at the girl on the ground, if anything she would had loved to confront her about their first meeting but this wasn’t time, amy was ruining their practice! bitna was exhausted and her bed was the only place she wanted to be at. beside tomorrow academy class was not going to be an easy one. “can you do better?” she retorted “some of us, are ready to go back to the dorm.” it was hard not to roll her eyes at the other. “maybe you should start building your stamina tomorrow if your legs are going to give up that easily.”
the family concert was stressful for everyone involved. it was a big event for even senior artists who had fanbases to fall back on. but for someone like amy, with little to no fanbase, it was make it or break it. surely it was the same with the other trainees in the room. while she understood where bitna’s frustration might be coming from (she was disappointed in herself more than bitna could ever be) she really did not want to hear her own thoughts echoed back to her with such disdain. what the hell was amy doing to her to make her so pissed?
amy huffed. she was far too exhausted and fed up with herself to take an assault from one of her peers and say nothing. “i’m sorry” she replied simply and turned away from bitna to finally gather herself and stand on her own too feet. “maybe if she actually stayed on beat long enough to get through the song properly, we wouldn’t still be here” she mumbled, intending to be under her breath but she didn’t care enough to actually lower her voice by much.
when she passed legacy’s auditions, she thought that was a good sign. someone recognized talent in her and was willing to put resources behind a seventeen year old to see that talent flourish. signing to legacy made her start to believe she hadn’t peaked at age 4 and maybe her true peak was on the horizon. but actually training was less than affirming.
she always felt behind. everyone was always a better dancer or singer or had better expressions than her. even going to a performance oriented high school, juggling maintaining a+ grades and training effectively was nearly impossible. she was trying to do her best, but every night left her exhausted and numb. usually she would have a paper or lengthy assignment to do every night on top of training, leaving her with little time to sleep or prepare for the next day. it was an endless cycle that her body ached to end...yet she kept pushing through it. her body would simply have to adapt since there was no way in hell she was giving up after only a month.
in the acting workshop she did her best to make time for, the exhaustion was clear on her expression—well more in her lack of expression. the scene she was reading from was incredibly emotional and intense. but holding the script loosely in front of her, amy looked like she was reading off the most boring book report. it didn’t help amy was naturally pretty stoic and (hence taking advantage of acting classes). she had to keep her eyes trained on the page so she knew what the hell she was supposed to say. her confidence was draining with every line.
“are you tired?” she cuts amy off as she speaks. amy freezes, clearly thrown off by the interruption. she can’t speak, but gives a small nod. this is clearly not what the coach wants as she sighs deeply before beginning, “you can either take this seriously or get out. there are hundreds of girls that will work ten times harder and stay up hours later than you are to stand where you are. you need to work ten, twenty, a hundred times harder, stay hours later than you think you need and show me and all of your coaches that you earned the privilege of being here.” the coach’s words are like thorns in her sides.
tears brim up at the edges of her eyes but her hands are frozen as they hold a script in front of her. “use that!” the coach exclaims, which just startles amy. she sniffs and uses the back of her hand to wipe some a few tears away. amy never cried in front of anyone but her mother before this very moment, but she presumed legacy would be the site of many of her firsts.
the coach was right and amy knew it. if she wanted to commit, she needed to put her full force behind training. if it made her mother upset, that was her mother’s problem. amy was nearing adulthood and needed to start acting like it. “go again. this time i want to feel the words as you read them off the page.”
amy starts again, taking the advice as best she can. she channeled her frustration and disappointment into the character (working perfectly for this scene) the coach simply nodded, taking a few notes on the clipboard in her lap. “remember acting is feeling.” she finished, speaking to amy but also the other trainees in the room. amy thanked the coach and bowed before sitting down on the sidelines to watch the next trainee. rather than watching the other trainees and learning from them, with her knees pressed to her chest her gaze was fixed on the wooden floors. her mind couldn’t focus on anything but her failure for the rest of the day, and she went back to the dorm even more exhausted and frustrated than when she left that morning.
it was a crowded saturday night in the practice rooms. the family concert was drawing closer and closer and trainees were using every second they could to prepare—and amy was one of them. she was worried about her performance at the family concert, particularly her bombing and being forced out before she got to properly prove herself on stage. her end goal was never to be an idol, but she knew coaches were always watching and if she wanted a chance at making it here, she’d have to put her all into everything she was tasked with.
as cramped as the many trainees packed into one room, it was nice to know she wasn’t alone in her drive. and it gave the opportunity to see what other training groups had in their arsenals. she was a little sad that she’d only gotten to experience the evening junior female trainees. she noticed one boy (who she was positive she’d met before but couldn’t place a name to) going hard to a song she didn’t recognize as one the boys were performing. it also didn’t look like the official choreography for the song. once he stopped for a moment, she caught him and asked “hey, what are you practicing?”
practice was going fine. well may be not fully fine or great, but fine enough. amy didn’t have her heart in singing and dancing, but she wasn’t going to let that stop her from wearing herself down to the bone in preparation for the family concert. it was a nice distraction from the intensity of her final year in high school (though college did loom over her head). she liked performing and the idea she could have a real chance at earning fans, but music wasn’t in her soul like it was for other trainees.
still! amy song never did anything half-assed and if she was asked to perform, she was going to perform. given that this was her first public performance as a trainee, the pressure was on to prove that the last year and half was not for nothing. though, it was clear to her that she was behind most of the other girls performing. another run through of the choreography of BANG! left her so exhausted her legs gave out and she crumbled to the ground. her mind urged her body to get up and keep going. she knows she’s holding up practice, she knows she should push herself more, be better...but her limbs don’t have the strength. she huffed out in frustration as he head fell.
she didn’t look up until she notices a figure in front of her. she looks up at the girl infront of her with squinted eyes. “can i help you bitna-unnie?” roughness behind her words. this kind of attitude wasn’t typical of amy, but her exhaustion and frustration with herself shredded through her usual stoic guard.
amy sits with her back straight against the back of the chair she sits in. she wears a white buttoned up top with a black frilly collar. she’s nervous but does her best to hide it. she can prepare as much as she wants, but nothing is like actually have to sit in front of the camera. her hands sit in her lap with her right over her left. she clears her throat and greets the staff behind the camera before the questions begin. she lets out a deep breath to keep herself calm and composed.
what was the first legacy song that you’ve heard?
she considers for a moment. it had to be far back, she wasn’t even in elementary school when blazing debuted. “growing up, it was hard to avoid legacy artists. they were everywhere.” she emphasized. catching herself, she quickly corrected herself, “not that that was a bad thing! i enjoyed listening when they came on the radio, but i honestly was never the biggest fan.”
she thinks about her friends. they were obsessed with everything legacy. paying god only knew how much to get into fansigns, going to award shows, watching for updates on new trainees—which she realized she was now—everything that most teenagers did for the stars they cared about when they had the money to do so. not that amy didn’t enjoy legacy’s music, she was just more of a ballad fan that wasn’t usually found in groups. “but i remember the first legacy music video i saw. one of my best friends was obsessed with haru-sunbaenim, especially when they released chained up. she showed me the video and i was amazed. it was so dark and intense, but the singing was so beautiful and catchy. it really showed me how important the visual components of music can change the meaning completely.” someone behind the camera throws her a follow up: are you still friends with that person? “no,” she responds immediately with a light restrained chuckle. “friends may not last but haru is forever.“ she adds before falling into a full chuckle.
how has blazing/dbsd/haru impacted you ( from a musical perspective )?
“i have always admired haemi-sunbaenim and hanui-sunbaenim. i think it is admirable that they are able to break through idea of what an idol is supposed to be and instead expand on what an idol can be. i think blazing as a whole did the same, but those two sunbaenims stand out.” she answers. she had nothing against idols that fell into the typical, but it was easy for them to stand out. “haru-sunbaenim are consistently good in performance, which is something i strive to achieve myself.” she won’t add that she works her ass off day and night, but it’s at the back of her mind. like every in her position, she hopes it will pay off. “and i think everyone can agree that dbsd are simply iconic and have staying power that is admirable. i hope that one day i could have such impact. i would like to be able to use such a platform to make tangible good in the world.”
happy sunday legacy! i’m mono, if you don’t know me already i’m the mun behind @woobinxlgc, but today i bring you AMY SONG ! she’s a sweet little fashion nerd and aspiring model. under the cut you can find some basic info/backstory stuff on her and some super quick plots. i’d love to get some threads going for TRAINEE MISSION 008 so let me know if you would be interested in rehearsing with ams here!

QUICK FACTS.
born and raised in seoul, she started modeling when she was just a little kid! no one could deny she was outright adorable as a kid so they put her in some cfs.
her parents really pushed their daughters to be active and busy, which has translated to her life now as she tries to juggle being an idol + high school/university. she does her best to handle it well! but it’s left her with a less than active social life...hopefully that will change!
she knows the entertainment industry takes connections to get anywhere worth a crap, but that is where her skills fall flat. when she’s not in entertainer mode (so off camera) she’s pretty stoic and borderline awkward. she was used to her mom handling the business off camera while she performed, so that transition has been difficult.
however ! anything she sets her mind to, ams is set to achieve! she’s got the determination (borderline stubbornness) to achieve her goals and will do whatever she has to get where she wants to be!
where is that? currently she’s set on debuting as a model. she’s enjoyed learning to sing & dance, but her heart lies in fashion and that’s the industry she’s passionate on making it in.
she’s an absolute nerd for history (fashion to be specific) and will rant to random facts on the evolution of skirts if not stopped.
despite being a stoic/snob/whatever you want to call it, around her friends she lights up. she just has a bit of guard up from being hurt by fake friends in the past, but beneath that she’s super sweet and loving. she’d die for her friends!
QUICK PLOTS.
fellow high school students! she’s attending hanlim multi arts at the moment, but she’ll tutor anyone who needs it
other child models/etc she could have known from her past. she was active from age 1 to when she started elementary school (so roughly 2004-2009).
nerds she can geek out about random history/other shit with
her dorm mates! she’s been placed in female dorm d
some mentors in singing and dance since those have been the performance skills she’s focused on
similarly: models/aspiring models she can be buds with! she’s not the most skilled yet but she’s on her way! and she’d love to get to know the people she could be working with.
