In discord meet cute AU Anakin and Obi-Wan are completely opposite in a how they act in life and hoe they act in a bed.

Obi-Wan is known as a pretty liberal professor. He isn't one of these teachers who play bff with students and invite them into his house, but he always understand students and makes compromises. He also always treats his students as his academic peers and never has power trips. The only thing he completely distaste is uninventive cheating. If a student made themselves an elaborate cheat sheet, that's fine with Obi-Wan, but if a student plagiarized someone else's work, and paid someone to do the work for them, or used AI for it, there would be no mercy.

In the same time in bed he is quite dominant. Some of his kinks go straight to BDSM territory.

Anakin is quite bossy in his regular life. People who don't like his always say that he remind them about am officer in the army (derogatory). Ironically, Anakin never served in the army. He can easily inspire people, but in the same time when he has and idea, it's really hard to make him leave it if idea doesn't work. He also very sensitive to signs if disrespect.

In bed he likes to wear lingerie, be called little kitten and when Obi-Wan roughly fucks him.

Obi-Wan is a popular fantasy author whose main character in the series is based off of his best friend who he’s in love with. His best friend who happens to be happily married and has kids. Obi-Wan can’t help it, the more he tries to shove it down, the more he writes about him. 

The character in his books slowly becomes his own fleshed out character that gains him popularity in the writing community. Everyone is in love with his character and Obi-Wan hates it. He hates that he has shared his secret desires out for the world to see. And not only that, but also his love for his best friend made the world fall in love with him too. It felt wrong. It was pathetic. 

His best friend is completely unaware of the fact that Obi-Wan is in love with him. His wife on the other hand is aware of Obi-Wan’s feelings just by reading his books. She can’t help but pity him. 

So, Obi-Wan wallows and pines after his dearest friend, all the while being possessed by the need to write about his dear character, his Anakin.

Obi-Wan groaned as he rubbed his eyes, no longer having the strength to keep staring at the computer screen. He couldn’t do it anymore. How many years has it been now? Nine? Ten? He paused, counting on his fingers. It had in fact been ten years since he started writing about his dear Anakin. His bastardization of his best friend. 

It was wrong, it was perverse. This charade should have ended years ago but he had been weak. Finding his resolve, Obi-Wan scooted his chair closer to the desk once more. It was time for him to do what he should have done years ago. It was time to kill off Anakin. It was time for the story to end. 

The books had started as something fun for him to do, something for him to vent his feelings out in a fantastical fictional world. He hadn’t ever meant to publish it, but a well intentioned object of his affections had decided it needed to be seen by the world and had sent it to a publishing house. Obi-Wan could still remember the feeling of wanting to die that had haunted him for weeks following Tom’s betrayal. 

In the end, Anakin ended up paying his bills and helping him through his times of loneliness. So he couldn’t be too mad. Nonetheless he still wondered what life would have been like if Anakin had stayed part of his journaling process. 

He supposed he'd never know. 

He had been putting off ending the series, finding every reason to delay the conclusion that was always meant to happen. Ever since the beginning he had told himself that the moment he finished the books would be the moment he would let go of his love for Tom. 

Obi-Wan sighed. He was almost forty, it was past time to move on from his college crush on his best friend. He really should look for someone else, someone available. Or he could just accept his fate as a lonely old man. Not that he minded being alone all that much, it was however; hard sometimes seeing his best friend with his wife and kids while still secretly wishing he was in her place. 

Putting his hands to the keyboard Obi-Wan took a deep breath and went back to typing. ‘Goodbye Anakin.’

i love how i’m just revisiting my old haunts at this point…. reinventing the wheel, so to speak….

this is a quick one to just think about, but go with me here:

a) in order to pay for undergrad? grad? school and rent and groceries, besides loans and scholarships, anakin works a night-time phone sex operator.

it was not a planned thing, it almost definitely happened by accident, but he does it out the comfort of his own home, he gets to shut off his brain for a while and just say things to people, and he’s kind of good at it??? he has so little experience with real people, but thankfully porn provides a lot of background knowledge for him to use, and now it’s like people will specifically request him (via fake alias assigned by the company ofc) sometimes??

it’s kind of hilarious because one would think people get really into the roleplaying aspect of it all (they don’t, it’s work after all), but anakin basically sits at his computer desk chair with his legs propped up on his mattress, absentmindedly going, “Oh, yes, daddy, right there, please, oh god,” in his breathiest twink voice, while doing problem sets

he works on a paper and bounces rhythmically on the creaky-as-shit old desk chair he uses for foley, and moans with the most neutral expression because he’s using his brain capacity for this paragraph right now and not stimulating words for the customer

he works hand soap over a girthy tuber for lube sounds while watching a drama on mute with subtitles

sometimes it does get a little distracting because he can get hyper focused on creating the perfect background sounds for a scene, and so he’s basically got this whole set up at one point in his room where he can get the best acoustics, and he has like standby tools for the standard sounds he needs, and probably he could stand to spend less time focusing on foley and more on his actual school work and papers, but he can’t help how the adhd comes and goes

anyway, he gets obi-wan as a customer one day, and it’s kind of really late at night and anakin is just chewing on a hot dog for his midnight dinner after a long day in the lab, and he’s doing his best to be timid and shy and yet coy and alluring for ‘ben,’ but obi-wan is like actually i just wanted to talk to someone. can we just have a conversation? and anakin’s like uh ok sure if you don’t mind hearing my mouth noises while i chew

you know where i’m going with this, right? obi-wan kenobi is a lonely man, and his best friend quinlan has given him a phone number to call, saying he can have a friend to talk to, not knowing its a phone sex line quinlan i’m going to kill you after we’re done here—but the man on the other line is just nice. gruff and matter of fact after he tells him to stop the twink voice, but he listens to obi-wan speak, and he asks obi-wan questions, and he seems to genuinely care, and it just makes him feel a little less lonely for two hours

and you know what, maybe after vowing to never call again because that was mortifying the first time around, obi-wan gets lonely enough that he does call again and request for lars (probably the least sexiest name you could use for call sign but ok) to talk to again

b) on the flip side, what if obi-wan is the one working the phone-sex operator job?

he’s great at it, a super comforting voice that can make a person feel safe and cared for, but also equally great at stern and no-nonsense for the ones who need a firmer hand

i feel like anakin would be foaming at the mouth for this man, enamored with his voice and his laughter and his ability to understand exactly what anakin needs just by the tone of his voice… but also he probably would fall in love with the brief break in obi-wan’s persona when he says something too genuine to treat as just customer ticks and obi-wan responds without prejudice or with humor that is a little too dry for his persona, and anakin probably goes into each phone call trying to hit a personal quota of how many times he can get obi-wan to break character

i stop here because this got too long but the possibilities….. they are Endless……

Emperor Obi-Wan au: Obi-Wan starts falling after Qui-Gon's death. He sticks it out for a few months, trying to regain himself, but inevitably Falls. Anakin is taken from him and he's expelled from the Order.

Obi-Wan reconnects with Dooku and they end up deciding that Sidous has to go. Sidious, facing an actual threat, tries moving forward with his plans. This is a decade long battle, triggering the Clone Wars and nearly ending with Palpatine becoming emperor before Obi-Wan kills him and seizes power. (Dooku is a very proud grandmaster. He takes a well deserved vacation.)

Obi-Wan has all the power and the Jedi are backed into a corner. They're losing the war, losing public approval, losing their independence. Obi-Wan offers them an out, a way to end the war, to retain their independence, to be left alone. He proposes a marriage betwren a Sith and a Jedi, to bring balance to the force, to bring peace to the galaxy.

He, of course, will only accept Anakin.

Obi-Wan has kept an eye on him from afar. Has seen the man he has grown into, a well respected knight and general, a brilliant warrior and powerhouse in the Force. Obi-Wan has missed his presence for 15 years, has felt the hole where there bond was like a missing limb all this time. He wants Anakin and Anakin wants an end to this war.

The wedding is a spectacle across the galaxy. Mostly I want Anakin to be decked out in the most over the top white robes.

Things are very tense for the first few months. Anakin has fond memories of Obi-Wan, of the master who first taught him of the Force, who was kind and gentle. This man is a stranger wearing a familiar face. But he treats Anakin well, only seeming to want his company, his mind and his attention. He doesn't demand anything more than his time.

More than that though, Obi-Wan starts giving Anakin the most over the top presents. Obi-Wan brings Shimi (alive in this au) to the captial. He frees Tatoonie and starts systemically stomping out slavery across the galaxy. He gives the clones citizenship and allows the Jedi to continue.

Anakin slowly realizes that Obi-Wan will give him Anything he wants. Obi-Wan may rule the galaxy but Anakin rules his heart. Obi-Wan induldges his every whim, his every desire, and asks for little in return. Obi-Wan loves him, desires him, but never crosses the line, too wary of losing him again.

As soon as he realizes the power he holds, he starts teasing Obi-Wan relentlessly. He's playing the temptress, the treasure that Obi-Wan owns but cannot hold. Riling him up and walking away. Obi-Wan recongizes what he's doing and lets him, but not without warning him.

"Dear heart, you are playing a dangerous game."

Anakin keeps pushing. Eventually it quits being about what he can withold and becomes about seeing what will finally get Obi-Wan to snap. He wants him to. Anakin has fallen in love, but he's also they're playing sexual tension chicken and he wants to win.

I just want Obi-Wan eventually taking him to bed and worshipping him, prasing him, stripping Anakin down to his most vunerable and love hungry self. Anakin eats it up.

Anakin works in sanitation at a marine research facility and falls in love with a captive mermaid. Obi-Wan is standoffish at first, but Anakin eventually gains his trusts and breaks him out! Obi-Wan doesn’t make it easy for him though.
