I just can’t anymore. In all his years as a professional Karim has never responded to all the accusations about him and now he’s gone on twitter and had a rant. He’s been so strong and careful not to show how upset he was for all this time, so I can only imagine that Valls’ declaration in the media was the straw that broke the camel’s back. The worst in all of this is that there isn’t one player in the whole of France who wants to be playing at the euros more than Karim does. No one is more motivated than him to win this trophy. Why are people so intent on trying to stop him? Why are people always twisting and misquoting every single word he says to make it sound like he doesn’t “like” France? Or his teammates? Just because he has a “street” accent? People would rather go without their most experienced player just because they don’t like the sound of his voice? I’m just….. I don’t understand

18/02/16 | Official -Breaking News: The Judicial Control on Karim Benzema is lifted

1) Wednesday, 17th February, the Judge of Versailles lifted the Judicial Review on Karim Benzema in the ongoing investigation of the ‘Valbuena sextape’, hence he will be able to see/talk to Mathieu Valbuena so, selectionnable for France.

2) But, the prosecutor appealed the judge’s decision, hence the French Forward is still not able to meet with Mathieu Valbuena until the appeal’s hearing.

3) A meeting of Mathieu and Karim is scheduled very soon, organized by the FFF and the FFF President. The meeting is now posponed due to the prosecutor’s appeal. A date for the appeal’s hearing will be given soon. (x)

Update: Mathieu Valbuena and Karim Benzema are now allowed to meet and talk, so the FFF has two weeks to arrange a meeting for the two players.

[They are allowed to meet until the 4th of March, date of the hearing for the prosecutor’s appeal (to the judge’s decision to lift Benzema’s control) ]

I can not wait for all this is over and that justice is done for all 🙏
