New Filters function in Excel 365

Demonstrate the new filters function in Excel 365 available for students & professionals. To more easily use function & analysis data. So let's demonstrate the new filters function. Here we have discussed the Excel 2021 & Excel 365 versions.

The old "Filter" function is available on the top right of the home bar under "Sort & Filter." Users use this function to select what row in the worksheet to display.

The new "Filter" formula is available in the Excel 365 version. This is dynamic array formula start with an equal sign (=) and extracts matching data from a range based on criteria we define, "spelling" results into adjacent cells automatically. Unlike traditional filters that hide rows, FILTER returns a new dynamic dataset. Allow for complex criteria. With this new formula making data analysis more flexible, efficient & time-consuming.

Some analysts used awesome hidden Excel features. They used functions and applied them to their analysis report. So let's know which hidden features are in the bucket of the Excel spreadsheet.

1.1 Data modeling/Power Pivot: Power Pivot features come into advanced Excel functions. It used the relationship of tables; it is also known for data modeling. Analysts used this feature for the relationship of a table or huge data into many tables to apply it to a pivot table to get a summary of the data and get meaningful insights.

1.2 Power Query (Transformed data): Power Query, or Get & Transform Data, is used by analysts to get various types of files into Excel spreadsheets (e.g., CSV files, etc.). Also, this Excel feature comes into advanced Excel. With this feature analysts clean and remove duplicate rows & columns and transform the row data.

1.3 Lookup functions: Demonstrate the lookup functions in advanced Excel. Everyone knows about VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP. But here we will discuss what advanced features some analysts use every day and what kind of features are included in their analysis report. So we are talking about XLOOKUP and INDEX-MATCH functions. The XLOOKUP function is easier than VLOOKUP to find the exact match value with a few arguments. It's an advanced-level feature available in Excel. And the INDEX-MATCH function is used by analysts. This function finds the exact value from left to right or right to left.

VLOOKUP: Think of this as your reliable detective that searches vertically in a table to uncover matching data. This VLOOKUP has been a trusted function for many years.
