One of the many things didn't make sense in GO3 is Crowley's miracle-lessness. Okay, the Bentley's space travel capability could've been something Crowley had miracled beforehands, as he's clearly thought about it. But transporting them back into to the bookshop was obviously miraculous, and obviously done by Crowley. Not to mention, Crowley's dressed differently when he plays for the Bentley and we know he miracles his clothes, so I don't imagine him having a change of clothes in the Bentley.
So does he or doesn't he have miracles?
When I watched the first 15m, my hc was that he was martyring himself on purpose - he could have it all back, just as he could easily rent the room from Mrs Sandwich to get off the streets (miracles aside, he's just brought her a chip worth 500 pounds after he'd borrowed 150!!), OR move into the bookshop, but he's just miserable and he wants to wallow. I feel like making him miracle-less was a quick addition to explain why he lets Brian exploit him. And if Crowley still had his miracles, they could use a joint miracle (they were holding hands!) to fool god and insert themselves into the universe she was creating - the way Adam made himself human but could still affect reality (the way he makes a shrub wither to let Dog out of the garden). And then in the final scene we could see Anthony's eyes glimmer yellow for a split-second and somehow indicate Asa is still an angel. Or even, body-swap style, give it a little: "Do you think anyone's still watching?" "I believe we've waited long enough." and they transform back to their celestial selves.
...I started writing this to point out an annoying plot hole, and before I knew it, it turned into a rather neat fix-it. Enjoy, I guess xD
