ok so im going to just post some random stuff about the comic for a bit. i dont have anything to like actually post yet because i havent even started making it or anything yet. its gonna be a while before i can do so i dont even have a script planned out or basic episodes or anything. you can follow if you want i guess but im not going to be actually doing much of anything for a long time. this could be years in the making i dont have the ability to produce this right now. yes i know this doesnt look professional this is a temporary intro post
ill make a basic intro i guess. ok hi basically the deal here is this is a (planned) fancomic abt an au of the left/right game im working on called anaviosi springs.
the concept is essentially that after the canon events, alice and the rest of the convoy (and some others) get inexplicably transported back to the regular world with no memory of how they got back there.
after they're identified, the fbi speaks to them and offers them a deal...if they agree never to speak of what really happened while they were gone and sign nda's making it classified, they'll be provided housing and other benefits as long as they all remain together where they can be monitored.
the alternatives are less pleasant as i'm sure you can imagine.
they all get placed together in their own gated community, anaviosi springs. it's not as pleasant as it seems. constantly being monitored and treated like dangerous criminals or lunatics.
this is a comic about coping with the trauma the convoy has undergone and continues to undergo, and how they feel disconnected from the rest of the world: both due to their experiences and due to their isolation in anaviosi springs. it has themes of other things but is mainly a comic about trauma and the inability to speak out about it to anyone but those who have endured it.
this comic contains heavy and dark topics and themes, both canon-typical and canon-divergent. content warnings will be updated as time goes on.
content warnings: anything canon-typical, violence, blood and gore, death, themes of unreality, paranormal experiences, delusions(*), panic attacks and breakdowns, nightmares, childhood abuse and trauma, implied sexual assault/sexual trauma, graphic and accurate depictions of mental illness and disability, themes of ableism, body horror, self harm and suicide, implied sexual content (nothing pornographic or explicit.), dark(**) and/or sexual humor, hallucinations, paranoia, and possible nonsexual nudity(***).
*delusions are given a content warning as the delusions portrayed could be triggering to those with delusions. this is not demonizing them. they will be portrayed sympathetically and accurately, especially due to being written by someone who experiences delusions.
**dark humor as in themes of violence or trauma, or coping jokes. not nasty shit.
***i feel like i worded this a bit weird so i want to clarify possible nonsexual nudity refers to the possibility of nonsexual nudity being shown. not nudity that is only possibly nonsexual. if you don't understand what i mean by nonsexual nudity some examples would be a character getting dressed or taking a bath.
anything that could be potentially triggering will be tagged with its respective tags, ex: "cw blood" for blood. other tags may be used but the main tagging system will be "cw (thing)" for ease. "cw" will be used as a catchall. if something is not tagged or is inappropriately tagged, or is something you personally need tagged, just send me a message or ask and i'll fix it.
please note that some of the scenes shown here will not be pretty. it's a comic about trauma and suffering. it's gonna be graphic and gross. do note that no scenes of actual sa will be depicted, but there are implications in backstory scenes.
being given a second chance may be akin to a blessing...but it isn't always easy.
posts about characters can be filtered by just searching the character's name (i.e. "eve") by searching their full name (i.e. "alice sharma") or by searching their callsign (i.e. "bluejay") and this will also apply to comics containing the characters.
comics will also be tagged with page numbers, chapter numbers, and arc names. backstory arcs will be tagged as "backstory arc" as well as their specific names and characters they are related to (i.e. "eve backstory").
oh also. i dont think this is related to anything else but i can reclaim the slurs i've been posting. sorry i dont tag slurs unless they'd be actually used in the comic (which they will, both in derogatory and nonderogatory contexts.)
