Hello people! Can I ask you for a favour? My story got into the finale of a rather big literary contest here in Slovakia. But the voting is public, and I only have about 60 followers on social media (other than tumblr), and I can see some other contestants getting a lot of support on theirs. A mother of one asked all of her friends to vote and got dozens of shares and comments like "voted, even read a bit". So apparently, you don't have to read the stories to vote, so that removes my reservations about asking for your help even though the story is in Slovak. Could you please vote here for my story "Šoldovské zvony"?

Voting is super easy, but in Slovak, just click on "Chcem hlasovať", pick option E (Eva Zahradníková - Šoldovské zvony) and fill your:

Jméno = name

Příjmení = surname

Telefonní číslo = phone number

(that's in Czech for some reason XD)

The flaming sword pins just arrived from the mint and they look great! (The scale is in cm, they are 3,5 cm long). They are the insignia of Aziraphale’s platoon from my story Back to the Roots, but I’m sure that you don’t need to know the story to wear it :)

The design of the pins was created by my friend @visanastasis

The final price (considering all production costs that I had to pay ahead) is

Flaming sword pin interest check!

Hello! I would like to order custom pins in the shape of a flaming sword (designed by @visanastasis). They will be brass and will look like the insignia of Aziraphale’s platoon from my story Back to the Roots. (But would be suitable for any Good Omens fans regardless of the story).

The price depends on quantity though, with a lowest order of 50 pieces. In that case the price is about $6,50 (6€) for one and gets lower with more pieces. The shipping won’t be much (about $3-5 from Europe to the US) since it will be a small package.

If the interest is lower than 50 people, I will have to set the price higher to cover the full cost, so I would like to know if there is some interest before ordering anything. Hello there! Fan for several years but just learned on the 30th anniversary that Good Omens came out on May 1st. I was wondering—does this have any correlation with the pagan holiday of Beltane (Mayday) or is it coincidence?

It’s not just a coincidence, it’s a mistake. We got the information from Wikipedia, but I have no idea who put it in there. Colin Smythe, Terry’s agent, just pointed out to us that the book was actually published on May 10th. So we can have another birthday in a bit over a week, if we want.

The Bombshell

1941 Good Omens

The smell of burnt feathers is making the air heavy and stifling. The black wings are wrapped around a shivering angel, lying on his back with his head in Crowley’s lap. There is no position that would be less painful for Aziraphale. His back and the other side of his wings are crisscrossed by deep gashes. Other places including the insides of the angel’s wings are marred with burns: the full titles of the Antichrist on his body and on each wing. Aziraphale is drifting in and out of consciousness. His eyes are half-open now, but they are unfocused and glossy with fever. His breath is coming in short gasps.

Summary: The morale in Heaven and Hell is low after the failed Apocalypse. Punishing the traitors (effectively this time) seems like a good idea to raise it for both sides - the angels would see what awaits them if they dare to disobey and the demons could just use some fun. And then there is someone else as well - someone whose grudge is even more personal. (A lot of angst, but there will be a happy ending and we are getting closer and closer to it!)

I am a day late, but still wanted to submit a little bit something I found the time to do :) I dedicate it to my sweet friend @mirach who inspired me! 

Ever since I read her story In Sickness and in Health I kept imagining Aziraphale as Santa and Crowley as Christmas Elf, so...I managed to find a little time to make a little drawing in a new more pastel style. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, guys!

My first Good Omens chibi fanart! It took a while as I had a lot of things going on in life, but in the end, I couldn’t resist drawing the two cuties, they really stole my heart! <3

Good(?) Omens of Numenor

I was just thinking that Aziraphale sounds very similar to Ar-Zimraphel, the coronation name of the last queen of Numenor from Tolkien's Silmarillion. Now I can't stop imagining the cross-over: Aziraphale as Tar-Miriel (Ar-Zimraphel), Gabriel as Ar-Pharazon and Crowley as Sauron. (Sauron even had a serpent form, mentioned in the tale of Beren and Luthien. And the eyes give him away in any case...) The whole Fall of Numenor was actually Crowley's/Sauron's attempt to free Aziraphale/Miriel from an abusive relationship, which didn't end too well...

@mirach​ wow, thanks for tagging me, I wouldn’t have thought of that, it’s a bit since I last read those. It sounds like a great fic idea! <3 It just got me thinking about finding equivalents of Tolkien and GO characters, and since his works seem in lot inspired by religions,  Ilúvatar as God is obvious, and I see angels and demons mostly as Ainur. High ranking ones like archangels would definitely be Valar, and lower ones would be Maiar, so I think Crowley as Sauron is pitch-perfect, and now I can’t stop imagining Melkor as Satan and all the possible dynamics between the two... 

I’d rather think Gabriel is Maiar/Valar, since the whole angel thing, so I think it’d be actually more fun to keep Ar-Pharazon as human - perhaps Aziraphale was sent to tempt him to the side of good just like he was sent to tempt Neron in the show, but somehow it all ended up in a marriage with a crazy person that Crowley has to bail him out of, just like he saved him so many times already :D 

A lot of potential for fluff and struggle down there, with angels (Aunur) pressing Zira to make good triumph, and Crowley being pressed to cause fall of Numenor... And both their sides, in the end, thinking they won, great Numenor falling and Crowley claiming credit for it, and Ar Pharzon being stopped and Aziraphale taking credit for thwarting evil... And both of them going to the elves to have some lembas to relax in the end ;)

They are so soft, I love them so much! <333333 As I’ve said before, the last one with giant ducks is my utter favourite, but that drink looks so delicious too... and that cute purple plant... perfection! ;)

Character design practice from last year. It’s water bending character from a fantasy RP I’m having with a friend, named Tide, who sports a face mask and clothes that shine like stars, I wanted to play a little with various blue and greenish shapes and composition, so it was a fun colour practice.

Little painting of a skeleton. This is actually a first experiment I did when I got my new tablet last year when I was finally able to do proper flowy lines.

Two candles burning as one. I got inspiration for it when I sow two candles right beside each other once, and I felt it was a nice choice for the first post :)
