waah thank you!! sorry i've been dead here, my motivation is minimal for like anything and my interests are fleeting and turbulent smh. i have a lot going on irl, and just haven't had the energy to commit to much of anything;;

hopefully after i move i can start to get a better handle on everything, but for now i'm kinda just rolling w the punches

#its one of those.. rewatch the same comforting 30 min video over and over for a week kinda times#ive been considering swapping the blogs pages to a sketch instead#it would still retain dynamic stuff and whatnot but no colour#but then i was like well the sin colours are kind of moot then arent they?#but i hate doing flats for backgrounds theyre just so bland anytime ive tried#and i also feel bad cuz i really do like the outcome of shaded posts and all and i dont want to lose the consistency either#but finishing the blog before it turns 10 would be nice...#i can always bring back coloured posts if i want to as well but i still like... want that consistency#and lowkey i worry people wouldnt like it as much#i know a lot of people dont actually read the posts and just look at the art and if i swapped to clean sketches then id lose retention#but ig half a year hiatus will do that too smh#ooc#text#ask mun#dl#anon#idk what to do abt it tho#im gonna get a part time job again when i move cuz i need additional income cuz housing market blah blah blah yanno#maybe taking a break from art job as my fulltime will give me more motivation for andan blog?#im def not quitting tho if i was id post the plot outline DSBFSDBFDB

anyways, this poll is regarding the going-forward for the blog. i've expressed that i lack any motivation to finish anything anymore (pages or old format alike). likely it's because art is my current job, so i've got a lot of burnout rn.

should i wait until i move and get a second job to alleviate the art burnout and then continue to do coloured pages (no guarantee the motivation returns anyways)? or should i stick to clean sketches from here-on out. if i make the sketch swap, i can always go back to finished pages if i want. i just really am not sure because i value consistency and constant swapping might be kind of jarring when reading back. i can always go back to the coloured posts once burnout is gone, but for now should i do sketches?

Pros for sketched pages is that i'd be able to get a LOT done sooo much faster. so if you prefer to read all the content quickly, that would be the best option. but if you think the finished art impacts it a lot feel free to weigh in on 2nd option. i will likely still add some fun colour to it for mythic markings and anything that's like, of note or would look cool tho, but overall it will be BW (not pure white bgs tho that shit hurts to read haha)

i've never used one and never really gotten the chance to..! it's a bug type and in FRLG it's located p late game, making it something that's less likely to get used since you'd have to swap a mon in your late-ish game team for it 0(

Would each member of Asty's system have a different team?

prolly not in the au, that'd be a lot of pokemon to own at once..! but each one prolly has a different relationship w their team! it's possible one or two were even caught by another system member hee hee, tho they don't go out and battle and catch mons, they're very much "this one followed me home" type of people.

they're also not a trainer since they don't like battling! if their pokemon enjoy battling, it's likely they battle other pokemon who visit the garden frequently!

i actually got a shiny one as me starter in a modded HGSS that gives me 256 shiny odds hee hee.. green bug...

I think they are very cute and round esp Kakuna w its big eyes. I really wish the starter bugs could be more viable late game, but they're great for start of game at least huehue;... rip...
