Artyom Anoufriev and his "sh" marks

It is known that during the trial, the duo suffered emotional problems, the most notable of which was from the elder.

Although the forensic psychiatric examination in 2012 found both to be mentally healthy, Anoufriev was found to be prone to self-mutilation and suicide, and psychologists conducted separate work on him.

On October 16, 2012, an emergency arose before the court hearing.

Anoufriev, while in court, inflicted cut wounds to the side of his neck and scratched his stomach with a razor, which he carried in his sock when he was taken from prison to court.

Guards discovered a cut on Artem Anoufriev's neck. An ambulance was called to the court, and the hearing was postponed for an hour.

His lawyer, Svetlana Kukareva, argued that this was the result of a "strong emotional outburst" caused by his mother appearing in court for the first time that day.

This wasn't the only time Anoufriev injured himself during that time:

There was another occasion when he cut his neck again with a screw lying unscrewed in the bathroom of the convoy's lounge.
