It was a really boring climbing day

I looked back into the fire.
"I agree. What do you all plan to do if you make it out of here?"
Trying to keep things positive. I can’t let my mind wander to Isobel.
"They really will," I say, responding to Cashmere's comment and giving Miriam a smile.
"I would shove my success in everyone's faces, enjoy it for a while and then come back to the Capitol with my family and become a trainer." I look up at the sky. "At least that used to be the plan." I always had everything figured out and now I'm not sure if I know what I really want.

I glanced over at Miriam and Cashmere.
"You’ll make a good mom someday Miriam. I haven’t heard anything yet. Maybe everyone is trying to lay low?"
"Momma Miriam," I chuckled. Gabriel was right, she would be a great mother. But for that to happen she would have to leave this place alive.
I shook my head. "Me neither. And probably. They probably suspect of the careers being together."

I had a few bites of blackened rabbit. The taste was weird but it was food. My arms felt like jelly. I’m more than happy for a rest.
"Miriam you know I love you. Thanks for getting the supplies."
I grabbed a few rocks and put them in a circle around the branches and leaves. The process of getting the fire going took less time than it usually did.
I started humming a song by Charlie Winston while I sat in front of the fire.
I sat down and stared into Miriam's direction, wanting to make sure no one was around. Realizing we're safe for now, I start to relax, eating what we had left and drinking some water.
When Miriam came back I couldn't help but to laugh. "Sit and enjoy the rest of the meal."

"It’s just ahead of us. We can stop when we get there. No offense to the forest but I don’t really feel like it’s a safe place anymore." I was referring to the fact that my Izzy died. “So we’re good then. I’ll just have to gather some supplies for a fire then we’ll have some warmth."
I picked up my pace. My arms were really starting to hurt now. Just a bit further. I can do it.
I touch the bag, happy to know that we have something more to eat. We won't go to sleep with an empty stomach tonight. "We can work with that. And if we go to a fight dehydrated or hungry...it's not going to end well."
"Do you think we can set camp here?" The forest was already behind us, I couldn't see where else we could go.

I wish I could follow Cashmere’s lead. Soon I can. We just have to keep going a bit further before we set down to rest.
"Andre what food? I only have a can of soup and we ate all the fish."
I looked over at Cashmere who was sleeping peacefully. Clearly, she trusted us enough to relax in our presence, which, honestly, felt kind of nice.
"Is there really the only thing left?" I asked, perplexed but making sure not to raise my tone. I sighed. "You will have to find something else to eat then."

I looked down at Cashmere. She was growing tired. My arms started to ache slightly but I can’t complain. It’s better than getting fucked up by a drunk ex. I started humming softly. Not only to keep me going but for Cashmere.
"We can settle down soonish. At least we’re away from that gas. I think we can all use a bit of rest. Cashmere you can let go. I see that wound on your shoulder and it must not feel comfortable. I won’t drop you."
For the sake of our conversation, it was better if I was stayed quiet. I wanted to protect them, but I also wanted to win. More than anything, that was what I desired all these years. I just wasn't sure if I could forget about my selfish side.
"Yeah, I like that idea. We need to eat too, make sure we're ready for what's to come."

Miriam was right.
"Cashmere I’ll carry you. I see your bandaged shoulder so I’m going to carry you in my arms so we don’t disrupt the healing process by having you hold onto me." I stumbled a bit. Shit. “Miriam and Andre if you don’t mind can you grab her pack."
Cashmere handed me her pack and I passed it onto the others. In one swift motion I scooped her up in my arms.
I looked down at her. “Hold on for as long as you can. Okay." I’m going to have to pick up speed but thankfully I built muscle up over the years so this wouldn’t be a problem. Cashmere was pretty light.
"I’m ready. Let’s get a move on."
I started walking faster. My ankle ached a tad but it was nothing.
"Are you sure you don't want me to carry her? I don't think it's a good idea, with your ankle and everything." Gabriel picked her up and I rushed to grab the bag, shrugging. To be honest, my back was still aching for carrying Miriam the day before.
I looked around. The smoke was trying to dissipate. "What do you think that was? That smoke?" I asked, intrigued by the random idea. Why smoke? In a place like this, especially.
"So, find Dianna. That's the plan, right?"

I started feeling a bit lightheaded. I don’t know what’s going on.
"Last time we went hunting….just going to let you finish that. If we go after her I am not letting you all be in the area. If by chance we do find her then you need to stay safe. She killed the girl I love and I am not letting her take any of your lives."
I meant this for Cashmere too. Back in training I was fond of her. I feel like I’m becoming big brother Gabe even though she can handle herself perfectly well.
"Grab your supplies and let’s get the hell out of here. Back the way we came I suppose. I don’t see any smoke from that fire that was spreading."
I started walking ahead a bit. A slow walk waiting for them to get moving.
"It's going to be okay, Cashmere, don't worry," I said, trying to my best to make her feel better. I coughed, my eyes starting to itch with the smoke. "Lets just go," I said, eyeing the three of them. What was even happening with this Arena? Whatever it was, I just felt like it was only going to get worse as time went by.
I turned to Gabriel with a closed expression. "Like I would let you go against her by yourself. I agree we let the girls stay back unless something happens to us. But I won't let you fight that psychopath all by yourself."
Grabbing my two spears and the trident, I followed him, coughing once again. I wasn't liking this place.

Andre did great with the fishing. I slept like a baby last night. I was getting used to the darkness. So of course I was shocked when I opened my eyes to sun. It didn’t take long to realize that we had company.
Cashmere.
I remember training with her. She was a very lovely girl and kind of clumsy. I’m happy to have run into her.
"Good morning Cashmere. It’s nice to see you again."
At the sound of Miriam of Miriam's voice, I open my eyes and stand up, gripping on my spear and worried that she was in danger. But then I saw little Cashmere and sighed in relief. "Oh." Was the only thing that left my mouth, my heart still racing.
She was such an adorable little girl. It made me think of Alannah, but I couldn't feel bad for killing her. "Hello Cashmere. Care to join us for breakfast?"
DAY TWO
Name:Andre Galin
Alliance: Miriam and Gabriel
Weapons/ Packs:Spear x2 , Trident
Position in the Arena: South East at the lake
Important Events:
Our hunt did not go as great as planned and we lost Abigail and Isobel
Killed Allanah
Miriam, Gabriel and I had a heart-to-heart conversation and I think our loss just made us stronger. It's good to know that the girls didn't die in vain
Went fishing. Being surrounded by water again was great

Worrying so much… “I’m fine! I just slipped!" I look over at Gabriel and his back is to us. I know he is crying but right now I feel like he needed some time alone to mourn. It seemed weird to think that pretty much 24 hours ago, I was setting up traps with Isobel. I had no concussion, no cut on my forehead and my Gabriel wasn’t so torn up.
"Huzza up catching those fish, you’re doing a great job by the way." I give him a small smile of encouragement.
"I always do a great job," I say, cockily. Joking around was making this situation easier to handle, honestly.
I spend the next 10 minutes stabbing smaller and bigger fishes. I wanted to make sure Miriam was't going to fall again, so I decided it was better to keep it short. With three specimens and a few smaller ones, we walk back to the small camp.
"You two should rest. I will keep watch and we can cook those tomorrow." With one of the spears in hand, I sit down in front of the fire smiling at Gabriel and Miriam.
Tomorrow was a whole new day.
There's no Logic in Death || Career Alliance (Miriam+Andre)
"Pssh everyone is too soft to do something like that." preposterous to think someone was capable of this. I cheekily pick up one of his spears and start to prod on the dead body. I hoped I wouldn’t end up like this person, but if I thought about it logically, it wouldn’t.
"Ready when you are fish boy, find me a pink sparkly one." The sound of the Panem music caught me by surprise and I almost fell into the lake. I scream a little before falling onto the grass. After catching my breath I can’t help but giggle a little. “Oh look at me narrowly escaping death!" I roll onto my back and look at the fallen. First is Isobel, then Alannah, Abigail and then Acacia. So the floating body was Acacia. Well…
"Maybe you're right. But dying because of a mutt...That's just too boring for me even to consider I guess." I sighed, deviating my attention from the corpse to the body of water that surrounded us. I stopped quiet for a moment, breathing rhythmically before bringing the trident down. When I took it out of the water, a little fish was still struggling.
"I don't think I can find you a pink sparkly fish, bu-" My sentence was cut short by the Panem anthem and a little scream. I quickly kneel by her side, worried she might have hurt herself once again. "Don't scare me like that!" I exclaimed as she giggled and then my attention is back to the night sky. "Come on." I stand up and help her do the same, not wanting to revive those heartbreaking emotions of before. "Let me just catch another fish or two and then we can go back. You need to rest."
There's no Logic in Death || Career Alliance
"Bitch don’t talk about me like I’m not here" I frowned as Gabriel stopped walking to set up a fire. I still had my blanket, the matches and I gave my night vision goggles to him so he didn’t set himself on fire. Plus, I feel like he needed some alone time. As Andre and I got further and further towards the lake, what I presumed to be a big fish turned out to be an actual human body, well, what was left of one.
"Mauled by an animal? They look pretty messed up? Who even is it? Mountain lion? Piranhas?" my mind was swimming with the past mutts I read about back in training. “Sure you wanna go swimming in that now?"
"I would love to hear those stories eventually. And don't worry, I take good care of her." I chuckled. She should better learn to deal with us worrying.
My eyes widen as we spot someone's corpses. The darkness mixed with whatever was able to leave this person in such a state made it impossible to name who it was. "A bloodthirsty opponent?" I gulped, not wanting to consider that chance, especially not with the circumstances that surrounded the whole day. "No, not really." Grabbing my trident, I push the body away.
"Ready to see my fishing abilities in action?"
