Her heart began to beat faster against her chest as he threw question after question at her. Not even giving her a chance to process what was happening in that moment. Everything else was a blur, only memories of him were clear. âNo.â Her voice cracked, trying her best not to fall apart over the phone. She had wanted to talk to him again, but not like this. âI didnât mean to hurt you, I loved you. I love you. I was stupid back then, you know that. But I needed to just hear you say somethin to me again. Iâm sorry..â She sniffled, lowering her head as she softly cried into the receiver.Â
He could easily hear the emotion in her voice and even though he cared he willed himself to at the very least act like he didnât. He was going to show her he was doing just fine without her. He couldnât let himself fall back into what felt like a trap to him. They had always broke up to make up but when she left he had decided that there would never be a make up, not with how she left him. He felt used and disposable and he wasnât going to allow that to happen again.  âYou donât love me,â he snapped before regaining his composure. âYou donât love me, if you did you wouldnât have just left me for him like it was the easiest decision in the world. Maybe yu never loved me, just the idea of me.â
