The thing I find myself agreeing with these days is the increased gap between all things dissimilar. Yet, I yearn for a sense of community and importance. Conditions are terrible everywhere in the world but they are here too. The sidewalks in SF are filled with addictions, poverty, and weary sadness. Will people ever put their phones down and look at what's in front of their eyes? Will people take their airpods out and listen to the cries? Will the government officials ever not look down from their high buildings in contempt? Will I ever help hand in hand with the ones I love for those who are less fortunate than I am? I pray so and I don't even believe in a god.
