From the inspiration of @addiekosten I’m going to 24 new and crazy (affordable) things! Starting January 1st, I wanna do one thing each day that is inspired by you! Please help me with this! It's #XC season, one of my personally favorite and underrated sports. Bright neon shirts, timed morning miles and team breakfast at the #mrswickspieshop afterwards, carb binging, I loved it for all the right reasons as a #crosscountryrunner. Truly wasn't hay long ago, but now just a few short years later I appreciate running so much more. It's only me. I'm both my coach and opponent. And it's all too easy to let myself off too easily. I joke when I say "I run to eat more," because ya' know with all the metabolic cravings; but what I truly seek is to be healthier in mind, body, and heart. I'll push through mud, puddles, wind, dry heat, snow, if I get to put one foot in front of the other. Ultimately, it's not about being the fastest for me. It's about being faster one day and slower the next.
