Where can I Buy LG G Flex in United States?

The first ‘bending’ phone from LG, the LG G Flex has officially caught our attention ever since it was first announced in South Korea. Although many thought it was the direct rival of Samsung Galaxy Round, the LG G Flex turned out to be a very solid device, with a clear marketing ground. LG is serious about selling LG G Flex.

This is a bit different compared to Samsung Galaxy Round. The phone was interesting, and it also has the same flexible display as LG G Flex, although with different axis. It seems that Samsung is testing the market with Samsung Galaxy Round, hence it was never meant to be released in the United States.

Where can I buy LG G Flex in United States? This question has been answered recently, thanks to a tweet from @evleaks. According to this leaked information, several US wireless carriers have been lining up for the device. These wireless carriers are T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint. We have no information whether Verizon Wireless is going to offer the LG G Flex yet.

For those who are not familiar with LG G Flex, it is the first flexible phone from LG (and the second one released in the world after Samsung Galaxy Round). The phone itself is rather big, with 6-inch screen that has a 720p display resolution. The processor is a quad-core Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.26GHz, combined with a 2GB of RAM (the recipe of top tier premium phone in 2013). At the rear side there’s a 13-megapixel camera, and the power source is a 3500 mAh battery.

There were no surprises in the hardware specs list. It is nice and powerful, but we have seen some other premium phones that offer specs that are more refined. But that’s not the thing that makes the LG G Flex entered our radar. Two major features made us excited.

First, the phone’s flexibility is a real deal. While many people think that the LG G Flex got its name simply because the phone’s design is curved, a recent video has confirmed that the whole LG G Flex can actually bend, and it’s not just the screen. I don’t know if the Samsung Galaxy Round can do the same feat, but if it can’t the LG G Flex would totally win over it.

Another thing that made us amazed was the self-healing back cover. I have never even thought that this is possible with our current technology. Even if it is possible, I thought that it would cost too much so the current mobile phone manufacturers won’t apply it to their phone to reduce the production price. However, LG have managed to incorporate the special cover in the LG G Flex. According to LG, the backside is capable of healing from minor scratches, which is amazing.

Unfortunately, there are no further information about the LG G Flex besides the one that said it will come to US via wireless carriers. Currently we don’t know about the LG G Flex price and release dates yet. Moto G Hands On and Early Review

Motorola has entered the mid-range market with the official announcement of Moto G, an affordable Android smartphone that comes with a kick. The marketing strategy is obvious, trying to sell the device in low price and hoping that it would sell like crazy. The Motorola Company even boasted that the Moto G would have a better performance than the premium Samsung Galaxy S4 in most cases. Is it true? Well, this is the first step to prove it, the Moto G hands on and early review.

For your information, the Moto G price is $179 for the base 8GB version. For additional $20, you get the 16GB version. People are excited, as expected. People here in United States have been lining up to get their hands on this affordable Android phone that will come to North American soil in January 2014. We’ve explained before that the Moto G is a good mid-range phone, with some interesting features. One of the most stands out features is the display. Although the phone only uses an LCD display technology, the resolution is high, and the pixel density even beat the premium iPhone 5S.

Moto G Review

During our Moto G hands on, the first thing that we noticed is the relatively pure Android experience. There are minimum additional software coming from Motorola, such as the Motorola Migrate that help you to transfer old data and settings from your old phone easily. The original Android version used in this phone is Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but Motorola has announced that they are planning to release the Android 4.4 Kitkat for Moto G somewhere in early 2014.

Being one of the two-flagship phones from Motorola, you can be sure that the company will provide support for the Moto G for at least one or two years from now. Again, we are skeptical about Motorola’s claim that the Moto G is better than Samsung Galaxy S4, but we are pretty confident when we say that this is one of the best mid-range phone class, with a very interesting price tag.

If we look at the specs, the Moto G would be a top contender for the best premium phone back in 2012. In the 2013, the phone would crush the competition in top-middle-end phones. The Moto G comes with a 1.4 quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, which has more power than the Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One X and Droid RAZR HD. However, this is still less than the Moto X, HTC One, LG G2, and other premium phones in 2013.

But then again, what matters from a phone is its performance, which is the combination between hardware and software. In our in depth Moto G review we will see how the phone actually perform, measured with some benchmarking tools. For now you will have to be satisfied with our Moto G hands on and early review.

Our first impression of Moto G was pleasant. For a phone that comes with such affordable off-contract price we wouldn’t expect much from the build quality, but Motorola gave us so much more. The build quality of Moto G is excellent, and the screen is even more. Not only the screen is very sharp and detailed, it is also very responsive (comparable to MotoX). The relatively untouched Android experience is also one of the big plus, because this makes the phone faster and run smoother. The Moto G comes with a 5-megapixel camera. Perhaps Motorola tightened its budget on Moto X in this area. However, it seems that the software is pretty good so the camera result was pretty good for a 5-megapixel camera lens.

There were two highlights coming out from Motorola this year. The first is none other than the Moto X, the flagship phone touted to be the direct rival of other premium phones, and the second one is this Moto G, the Moto X brother who will fight in the mid-range market. With a price of $179 for an unlocked device, what does it offer?

First, let’s talk about the CPU specs. There’s a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, combined with a 1GB of RAM. For camera lovers, the Moto G offers a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front camera for video chat.

The Moto G is designed for young people. This can be seen in the various case color options offered. These cases are called the Motorola Shells. But that is not your usual cases, because the cases have different kind of properties. For example, one case has the basic battery cover function, while the other offer additional protection in the form of active grip case that cover the back and the side of Moto G. There’s even a case that protects the front side too.

The connectivity features are all there. You get WiFi 802.11b/g/n, 21Mbps HSPA+ or CDMA/EVDO Rev, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, etc. Unfortunately, this Moto G will not support LTE connectivity and the new WiFi a/c dual band. It is too bad that the battery is non-removable. The 2070 mAh battery might not be the best available on the market, but the Moto G battery pack a relatively average power compared to other mid-range smartphones.

AS we have shown you above, the Moto G comes with a 4.5-inch screen that has a 720p resolution. This is a perfect display size for me, because I personally prefer a phone that is easier to hold in one hand. Interestingly, the pixel density is better than the iPhone 5S! Motorola specifically said that the screen is the highlight of the phone. Just imagine the display of a phone that cost $179 can beat the much more expensive iPhone 5S screen!

We also noticed that the software has a minimum changes, so there’s little bloatware inside. This allows the processor, RAM and GPU to run more efficiently, resulting in good performance.

One of the most daring statements coming from Motorola is that the Moto G can actually perform better than Samsung Galaxy S4 in many situations. This ‘challenge’ needs to be proven, so you’ll see the comparison between Samsung Galaxy S4 VS Moto G from us soon enough.

With the recent announcement of Moto G, people are instantly asking about how will it fare against the older brother Moto X. Therefore, today we are going to do a little comparison between Moto X VS Moto G.

Some say the comparison between the two is useless because we already know which one is better in terms of specs. However, we hope that after reading this post you can see the difference between the two. This will help you decide whether you are willing to pay extra money for the Moto X after considering the gap in specs.

Although Motorola tried their best to keep the Moto G details as a secret, but the leaks over at the internet are unstoppable, and apparently almost all rumors are true. Just like the Moto X, the Moto G also comes with some kind of personalization option.

The screen isn’t very different. There’s only a 0.2-inch size difference between the two, with the same 720p resolution. That said, each one comes with an excellent ppi pixel density. Motorola even claimed that the Moto G screen is better than iPhone 5S in terms of pixel density. This is true, and it is even more impressive because the Moto G price is only $179, much lower than the off-contract iPhone 5S.  The Moto G pixel density is also a tad higher than the Moto X. That said, the Moto X is using AMOLED, while the Moto G is using LCD display.

Moto X VS Moto G Comparison

The Moto X VS Moto G comparison in the CPU area has a significant difference. The Moto G runs on a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, supported with 1 GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Moto X comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro, combined with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 320 GPU.

In short, the Moto X processor is better, but the Moto G processor is not that far behind. Both RAM and Graphic card of Moto G is noticeably lower than Moto X.  The camera capabilities in Moto X double the Moto G’s. The Moto X have a slightly better connectivity option with its dual-band ac WiFi and LTE connectivity, but other connectivity options are the same.

Both come with two different internal storage options, the 8GB and 16GB for Moto G and the 16GB and 32GB for Moto X. The Moto X battery is about 200 mAh larger than Moto G, but the latter have a lower specs that consume less battery life, therefore I think both devices have the same battery life. In fact, some reviewers said that the Moto G is so efficient that the battery life is better than the Moto X.

In terms of software, both have Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade will be available soon, according to Motorola. The Moto X is getting the upgrade this November or early December, while the Moto G will get their Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade in January.

The Moto G is Motorola’s low-priced phone that comes with some interesting feats. In overall consideration of performance and price, the Moto G is a good deal. Perhaps one of the most significant differences is the X8 platform in Moto X. That piece of magic is very useful, and it’s unavailable in Moto G. That said, The Moto G has its own weapon: the price. Compared to the $500 price of Moto X, the $179 (8GB, $199 for 16GB version) is a very alluring offer.

In conclusion, there’s around $300 difference is price. In short, it can be said that the Moto X’s double camera megapixels, the X8 platform, slightly faster CPU and GPU, and AMOLED screen cost you that $300. Is it worth it? You decide. For those who are looking for a great Android tablet priced under $200, you might be able to find your answers in this Nvidia Tegra Note 7. Today we are doing the Nvidia Tegra Note 7 review to learn more about the tablet, and you will see why we think that this is one of the best Android tablets under $200.

If you are often in touch with technology world, I am sure that you’ve heard the NVIDIA name. In recent years the NVIDIA Tegra processors is widely used in various devices. One thing that immediately attracted me is the affordable price at $200.

Build and Design

The Nvidia Tegra Note 7 feels like an expensive tablet, thanks to the careful choice of the material used to build this device. Nvidia used three different materials, and they are placed in the right places. This makes the handling becomes very easy and the tablet feels sturdy. The overall look is very masculine, but beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised that Nvidia put so much thought into the design and built of Nvidia Tegra 7.

The specs

In terms of specs, several areas could be better. For example, the resolution is not as high as the Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire HDX, the internal storage is 16GB, which might not be enough for many game apps (but luckily, there is the MicroSD card slot), and the WiFi is still the standard b/g/n instead of the new dual band ac. The RAM should also be bigger, at least more than 1GB.

That said, during our review the device shows an excellent performance while we were playing Dead Trigger 2 or Asphalt 8. The key here is the low-resolution screen, which uses less system resources. However, do not worry; the 1280 x 800-resolution display is actually a decent one, especially in a 7-inch screen.  The Wifi quality is also strong and presentable.

During our gaming test, the battery last for about 5 hours of serious gaming. While this is not impressive, it is not so bad either. One thing that we noticed right away was the excellent sound quality that the Nvidia Tegra 7 offers. The front-facing dual stereo speakers did a brilliant job in delivering quality sound and music. One of the best we’ve seen in mid-range tablets. You can have a great time listening to the music or simply playing a video in this tablet.

There’s also the AcitveStylus addition that make the tablet even more desirable. The stylus works like a charm. It is responsive and accurate. We really-really like the stylus. However, the same cannot be said with the software supporting the stylus. The apps that support the stylus is just too little, but at least popular apps like Photoshop Touch or Sketchbook Pro are still supported. Let me say it again, the stylus performance is one of the best I’ve tried so far.

Because this tablet uses the stock Android 4.2.2 OS, you will gain several advantages. You will have the fast update and you are free from bloatware. This is proven with the confirmed Android 4.3 update in this December. In terms of performance, it is very smooth and we were very satisfied with it.

Being a game-centered tablet, the best part of the Nvidia Tegra 7 is the games. As we’ve explained earlier, despite the 1GB of RAM this tablet can take the highest settings in Asphalt 8 and Dead Trigger 2. Although I don’t agree with parents that allow their children to be too absorbed with their Android tablets, I think that we should allow the kids to have fun with tablets once in a while. The existence of fun apps for kids is getting more and more important because games that are not suitable for their ages are growing in numbers every day. The fun apps or games for kids would be a far reasonable option compared to the games made for adults.

In contrast to what some people think, I think Android tablets can be used to help you develop coordination and learning in your kids. Of course, if you want to keep them quiet for some time you can give the tablet too, but don’t do this too often. Anyway, here is the list of fun apps for kids in Android tablets or phone. In near future I also plan to post about the fun and safe games for kids too.

Fun Apps for Kids – the cat in the hat

OceanHouse Media Inc. has this great app called The Cat in The Hat – Dr. Seuss. If you have young kids that are still in the process of learning to read, this would be a perfect choice. This interactive  eBook has three features, such as “Read by myself”, which you can use to read for your kids. Other features are “Read to me” and “Auto Play”. The pronunciation is clear and loud, and when you touch the words, it will be spoken. The $3.99 price is worth it, I presume.

The second educational and fun app for kids in Android is the Google Sky Map. This free app allows your children to explore the magnificent sky and learn about planets, stars and constellations. If you can’t afford a telescope, this would be a good choice to nurture your children’s curiosity toward science.

Those who own an iPhone won’t be surprised with Talking Tom Cat. This popular app has come to Android for a price of $0.99. I like this app because it can distract your children for a while, entertaining them with a silly interactive play. You can stroke or pet or poked the cat and it will respond. It also replicates what you say in a cat’s voice.

If you want to stimulate your children’s creativity, the Kids Doodle might be able to help you. This app allows your kids to paint with their fingertips, creating doodles made of streams of light. This month is the month of innovation, and Oppo N1 is one of the phones that come with it. Just recently, we were surprised to see the development of Chinese phone manufacturers, in terms of product quality. Not only that they give 100% in their works, the products offered also comes with some kind of innovation that sets them apart from the popular devices. Today we have the Oppo N1 hands on and first impression to learn more about its uniqueness. We will finish the complete review as soon as possible.

First, let’s see the specification list for the Oppo N1:

Albeit there’s nothing so surprising in the Oppo N1 specs above, the phone has several things that are uncommon. The limited edition version of this phone supports CyanogenMod, a popular Android ROM flash, which makes it one of the first able to do so. For those who never heard about CyanogenMod, this app will help you to wipe the OS and get a new Android version.

There are also the special features such as O-Touch and O-Click. The O-Touch is a special feature in the back panel that is allowing you to set different functionality using gestures. Meanwhile, the O-Click is a Bluetooth accessory for remote control and security purposes. It can work as a keychain, so you can put it on a key and use your phone to find your key when you lost it. It’s a neat feature indeed.

Oppo N1 Hands on Review

The Oppo N1 also has the standard version, the one that doesn’t come with CynogenMod. There will be no price difference between the special and the standard edition of the phone.

Another thing that made us surprised is the incorporation of the old school rotating camera. Although the idea isn’t new, we liked it. The 13-megapixel camera can rotate 206 degrees, and it comes with six physical lenses. This rotating camera also comes with dual LED flash and custom ISP options. This allows users to use the rear camera as a front camera too for video chat or taking selfies. The rotating mechanism is supported with 67 different parts, allowing smooth shift from back to front.

Our first impression of the phone is the HUGE size. This might not suit our taste but we’re sure that there’s are people out there who love big phones. The special O-Click is a big plus, because it is practical and useful. Many people have thought about this idea, but Oppo is the first company to incorporate the tool with their smartphone. The rotating camera is also a neat feature, and it has a good build too. We can’t say for sure but we think that the mechanism won’t wear out easily. That is the biggest concern about rotating camera on a phone. The same problem happened with phones that come with such mechanism.

Overall, we think that the Oppo N1 is a very interesting phone. The flagship phone might not have the highest specs available on the market to date, but it does come with interesting features. We like to have the option to change back the OS to stock Android with CynogenMod, and we love the O-Click. The rotating camera is pretty solid, although we do have some concerns about the mechanism durability, but it may be just unreasonable worries./AndroidKlip

Samsung Galaxy Light First Impression and Early Review

The Samsung Galaxy Light was first announced by T-Mobile along with the Alcatel One Touch Evolve. The announcement was rather quiet, perhaps because it couldn’t steal the spotlight from other high-end smartphones such as the Galaxy Nexus 5. Nevertheless, we will give you the preview anyway, because this phone is one of the options when you are considering buying a smartphone on a budget. Enjoy our Samsung Galaxy Light first impression, and soon we will make a new post about the review.

First, let’s talk about the display. The Galaxy Light comes with a 4-inch display that fits to the hand nicely. Although some might say that this is the bigger phone era, I still think that a 4-inch display is more than enough.  The WVGA screen has a 480 x 800 resolution with 233-ppi pixel density. The resolution does fall behind the premium phones that come with 1080p resolution or above, but the small screen makes it looks good enough with decent details.

In the true essence of a mid-range smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Light is powered with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, supported with a 1GB of RAM. These specs should be able to give you a good response under low to medium hardware demanding usage. During our hands on, it did feel like it’s slower compared to the high-end phones, but common users won’t see the difference. As long as you don’t play games that requires a strong GPU such as Dead Trigger 2, you should do just fine.

At the backside, we see the 5-megapixel camera, and there is a VGA camera in the front side of the phone. The rear camera comes with LED flash and auto focus, although we were kind of hoping that it will come with Optical Image Stabilization. The camera result is mediocre, as expected from a 5-megapixel sensor.

To store your media files, the Samsung Galaxy Light comes with an 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable with microSD card. Just as many other phones, this phone support up to 64GB of additional storage.

However, what is most important is probably the connectivity. This phone already supports all of the popular connectivity, such as Bluetooth, GPS, MicroUSB, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, Accelerometer, proximity and compass. It also supports 4G LTE connection as well as NFC. It’s pretty comprehensive.

The Samsung Galaxy Light comes with a 1800 mAh battery, which is not the best, but not bad either. This is true especially because the specs itself does not consume power as much as the premium phones.

In terms of design, the Samsung Galaxy Light looks a lot like Samsung Galaxy Mini. Well, actually Samsung has been using the same theme across their Galaxy line series. The built is made from plastic, but it is not surprising because the company will push the production cost as low as possible.

Overall, despite the plain Galaxy look and plasticky build, I think the phone is a solid mid-range phone. The CPU and RAM would be sufficient for mediocre use. The camera and the battery could be better, but at least the Samsung Galaxy Light can cover all the connectivity you want, including the most important ones such as WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, NFC and LTE network.

Finally, we get our hands on this device, and we’re going to examine it through and through. This Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7” will unveil many aspects of this Android tablet, and you get to sit at the front row, so be ready! Amazon started to offer tablets with their Kindle series, and this year we got Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Fire HDX. The HD is a more basic tablet, while the HDX version comes with better specs and features. First, we are going to cover the design and built. We will also cover the screen that (which recent report said that it beats the iPad Air screen). Needless to say, we are also covering the hardware and software review.

Design and build quality

Amazon seems to be serious this year about making a tablet. The first generation of Kindle tablet was kind of plain, but now the HDX series comes with better design and built. Although we aren’t such a fan of that thick bezel at the front, they help you with your grip. The rubbery back is also a much better choice than the common plastic built we’ve seen in many Android tablets. However, the overall design simply does not scream elegance.

Display

This is the part where the Kindle Fire HDX 7” becomes interesting. Although it doesn’t come with the best design, the display is one of the best available on the market. You get an IPS LCD with full HD resolution. I’m sure you’ve read our screen comparison between the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9” VS iPad Air VS Nexus 10. Just like his big brother, this Kindle Fire HDX 7” also packed with great display. It has an excellent brightness and contrast levels, and the colors are accurate. There’s nothing to complain about the Kindle Fire HDX screen.

The hardware part is also great. Specs wise, this tablet comes with a high-end specification that can match the best Samsung’s Android tablet today. You got a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, combined with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. The processor and the GPU is the best there is today, ensuring that the device will offer a smooth experience and HD movies and games will not be a problem either. There are three storage options available, which include 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. However, you should count the basic files that will take up around 6GB-7GB of storage space and the absence of MicroSD card slot. Additional features include a 1.3 megapixel webcam (note: no rear camera), WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and LTE (optional). There’s also the 4550 mAh battery that can get you around 11 hours of battery life.

Software

We’ve never been able to understand Amazon’s move on stripping down the original Android OS into a simplistic Fire OS. The biggest flaw in this tablet is arguably the absence of Google’s apps. The environment offered is not the Google Play Store, but Amazon’s Appstore instead. Don’t get me wrong, the Amazon’s Appstore does support many leading apps in the Play Store, but it is nowhere as vast as the original. Well, I guess you can’t complain much because the original creation of Kindle Fire tablets are to boost Amazon sales.

Android Ceros Motion Tablet Review – Powerful yet Affordable

It’s time for another Android tablet review. This time we get to spend our time with a Chinese Android tablet called Ceros Motion. In the first glance, this affordable tablet has a lot to offer. Or is it? Check out the complete Ceros Motion review below.

The Ceros Motion is the smaller brother of Ceros Revolution, an affordable almost 10-inch Android tablet that comes with amazing display and some other good specs along with amazingly low price. It appears that the Ceros Motion follows this trend, and the company hopes that this Android tablet will be able to compete against the competitors in the 7-inch tablet market.

The build feels very comfortable, and we appreciate that the manufacturer chose not to use shiny plastic at the backside of the tablet. It adds a nice gripping power, and the tablet doesn’t feel slippery at all. We personally think that the button placement could be better, but other than that we have no problem whatsoever with the device’s design.

As we have mentioned earlier, the main highlight of this device is the screen. The manufacturer seems to emphasize on the display to attract customers. The IPS display is something that we rarely see in cheap Android tablets, and the resolution is pretty high too. The screen has a 1280 x 800 resolution, which is better than the original iPad Mini.

Hardware

While the price tag might cause you to think that this tablet is just another Chinese Android tablet, you are dead wrong. We were quite surprised when we got to see the official specs. There’s a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor, supported with Power VR SGX544 GPU. The RAM is set at 1GB, while you get 8GB of internal storage space. This tablet also support storage extension with SD Card. Another thing that sets the tablet apart is the dual SIM card slots for both GSM and WCDMA.

Software

The Android 4.2.2 version used in the Ceros Motion can perform pretty well. It may not be as good as the KitKat or Jelly Bean version, but we found almost no problem in terms of software performance. One of the main problems in Chinese Android Tablets are the lack of compatibility, but we see nothing of it. One word of advice, we highly doubt that there will be OS update soon for Ceros Motion. Therefore, if you want to get your hands to the latest versions of Android OS, this might not be a perfect choice.

Battery

If the processor and the screen is great, the same cannot be said about the battery. The 3200 mAh battery is below the standard of the current Android devices. That said, it is not the smallest, as we’ve seen many other budget Android tablets have smaller batteries. For example, the Acer Iconia B1 has a 2640 mAh battery. With this battery, you can get around 4 to 5 hours of video streaming.

Connectivity

We know that the tablet support dual SIM card, but as we’ve always said times and times again, we don’t think that a tablet should have a calling capability. It’s just too big. Perhaps the most thinkable way to use the SIM is to get 3G connection and to send text messages via SMS. Remember, the Ceros tablet only supports WCDMA 2100 MHz and 850 MHz, so be sure to check your carrier’s network.

There are other standad connectivity such as WiFi etc, and we are pleased to tell you that the WiFi worked just fine during our Ceros Motion review. We’ve seen several other Chinese tablets with problematic WiFi reception.

Performance

The Mediatek quad core processor is a popular processor for cheaper tablets. It is not as strong as the Snapdragon quad core processors, but it is still pretty good. During the CPU benchmark, the Ceros Motion is generally faster than Samsung Galaxy S2, but it is a bit slower than HTC One X. Normal usage feels ok and there were no lags. The tablet’s GPU can still manage the high performance usage, but in ultra high quality, the GPU started to show some delay. We can’t expect much from the 5 megapixel camera and VGA front facing camera. Let’s just say that this tablet doesn’t suit people who love photography.

Conclusion

What makes it very interesting is none other than the price. The Ceros Motion price is set at only $180. Compared to the Nexus 7, the Ceros Motion is about $70 cheaper. However, we are not sure about the price after it enters the North American soil, because there are tax and everything. All of us have to agree that WhatsApp has become one of the strongest messaging platforms available today. There are only a few other app that can match the WhatsApp’s popularity. It is so popular that even people over 50s are using it too. Of course, the largest portion of the user is still the young ones. There are a lot of people who are asking about how to install Whatsapp on computer or PC. They do it for various reasons, but most of them wants to have an easy access when they are working in front of their PC. This is understandable, because I also thought about the same thing. However, the WhatsApp is a mobile app. Therefore, –in theory –it cannot be used in PC or Mac. But those days are over thanks to this app called WhatsRemote. With this app you can run Whatsapp on computer, with some requirements. First, you have to have a rooted Android device. Second, this is a free trial app, meaning that you can try the app for free for three days, but you will need to pay $1 every 6 months.

First, you need to download and install the WhatsRemote from the Google Play Store. You will have to grant the app the root access, and then you’ll have to log in with your Google Account. Logging in with your Google account will allow you to use the same username and password for your Whatsapp on your computer. Optionally, you can turn off the WhatsApp notification and mark all the messages as read on your phone while it is connected to the PC. After the setting is done, you can go to the official website of the app at whatsremote.com, and then sign in using the Google account. After that you will see your WhatsApp account active in the site, and you are given with a chat-like interface that is easy to understand. The messages on the right side and your conversation will be on the justify side.

The Performance Review

We like the idea of Whatsremote, even though we’re not sure that it’s entirely allowed. But WhatsRemote worked like a charm.We noticed that there was a slight delay in sending and receiving messages, but it was still acceptable. Both of group messages and multiple conversations worked pretty well. The WhatsRemote can perform all the basic stuffs pretty well, but the app still can’t send any media files including images and sounds. However, you are allowed to receive images from your contacts. Another thing that we noticed is you cannot start conversation from the address book. The WhatsRemote is a respectable app, and we do appreciate the developer’s idea to bring WhatsApp to your PC. It has some restrictions and having WhatsApp in computer using WhatsRemote cannot do all the things you can do with your WhatsApp in your phone, but at least it can send and receive messages and all the basic stuffs. There is another solution in installing WhatsApp on computer, which is through Android Emulator. But it may not be as practical as this one./AndroidKlip
