PSA: Chronically running out of space on phone?
Neurodivergents esp.: if your Android is chronically out of space like mine was, it may be your phone's default keyboard! Found that Samsung keyboard was taking up 11GB!! of precious space I direly needed, even tho i barely use it. This took me like 2 years to discover tbh
So get something like SD Maid from play store and analyze storage and it should give you access to Samsung keyboard where you can clear data and start fresh. Also after that find the setting to turn off collecting screenshots in the Samsung clipboard (unless you use that feature a lot i guess)
Even if you don't use Samsung keyboard (i mean it kinda sucks i find it quite hard to type on) it still accumulates data
Also pay attention to your TikTok app size as the app can take up a LOT of space on phones, so if you still have it installed:
purge its cache (both in Android settings and within the settings in the app itself),
likely also need to delete the app and reinstall - bc the app is either poorly written (or, dare-i-say, something even more nefarious) as it seems to accumulate its data in the app code so you can't actually clear the app data without deleting the app.
Not really another step but alternatively you may be able to keep the app and clear the data using something like SD Maid
This has given my phone a new lease on life lol. Rly wanna delete fb app too but ~sunk cost fallacy~ bc i have poured too much time and effort down the drain wresrling with that cursed app's endless privacy settings trying to tame and tamp down the sheer magnitude of unwanted notifications and privacy concerns as best as possible
