OPHELIA ROYCE.
“The next time I get catcalled I will be pulling out my taser.” Ophelia grumbled. “Also, what is sexy about taking out the trash? There is literally nothing attractive about lugging a gross smelling plastic bag to a gross smelling metal can.”
‘’I’m not sure they were referring to the trash’’ Andromeda pointed out, nodding towards the brunette’s small shorts, an amused smirk playing on her lips. ‘’A taser, good initiative’’ she added ‘’I usually stick to the pepper spray but maybe I should upgrade’’ she muttered thoughtfully.
ISABELLA STEVENS.
“Oh, don’t worry about me.” She said, forcing a smile as she looked around. Isabella was being followed again, she was almost sure the person in question was someone from her father’s past. “I’m fine. Just let me here by your side. I won’t bother you.”
‘’I’m not worried about you bothering me’’ Andromeda replied with a chuckle. ‘’I’m worried about the other girls who’ll freak out when they get here’’ she said, nodding vaguely at the lodge. People weren’t supposed to get in there, but Andy didn’t really care. ‘’You have another half-hour though. Whatever you were planning on doing here, just don’t touch stuff’’ she told her with a smile.

TATE MCALLISTER.
“I think I can handle that.” Tate replied with a slight smirk. “In that case when you’re done with that one, let me buy your next one.” He chuckled softly. Talking to women that he was even remotely interested in had never been his strong suit, but Andy was different somehow. It was a little bit easier for him, but maybe that was just because they had only been talking for two minutes and it hadn’t really registered in his mind that they were talking yet. Either way he wasn’t questioning it.
Judging by the look on her face when he spoke it was pretty obvious that she knew he was talking about her. Which he definitely was. Not that she had ever been his waitress, but that didn’t matter. She was still the reason that he came there; tonight and pretty much every other night. He couldn’t bring himself to believe that she was just there because she liked hanging out there. A small part of him thought maybe she showed up because she knew it was one of the days he was normally there. After all, she had started the conversation with him and by pretty much straight up admitted she thought about him talking to her. But that was an awfully big presumption for him. “Right, you just really like spending time here. Hey I can’t really judge, I’m here pretty damn often.” He nodded biting back a smirk. Almost as soon as he finished his drink the bartender had already replaced it without him even having to ask, and he quietly thanked them. His mind was coming up blank again. He wanted to ask her about herself, but he didn’t even know where to start. He was way too out of practice for this.
‘We’ll just have to see’’ she replied, the smirk still playing on her lips. At the mention of her next drink, a half-smile stretched her lips‘’Are you trying to get me drunk, Tate? ’’ she asked teasingly, taking another sip from the glass nonetheless. Maybe flirting was the wrong way to go. What if he didn’t reciprocate anything? Dear, what if he had a girlfriend, or worse a wife! It would maybe explain his presence at the club, but Andromeda knew she was wrong. He wasn’t like that. Granted, she knew very little about him, but something told her that he was an honest man, straightforward enough to not cheat on his (hopefully) non-existent significant other.
This could go two ways. She could either do something about it, engage in the conversation and get to know him and it could lead to something, or she could stand there, crush on him like a twelve-year-old and wait for him to make a move. By the looks of it, neither of them were ready to give up and admit that they were solely there tonight to hopefully see the other. Andromeda was no loser, but if there was even the tiniest chance that his presence had nothing to do with her, she was not ready to take it and embarrass herself. Taking a deep breath, she was about to speak and tell him the truth but the music suddenly changed into an upbeat song, which happened to be the blonde’s favorite. A devilish smirk appeared on her lips and getting up on her feet, she took a step closer to the male and whispered in his ear. ‘’This is my favorite song’’ she told him,’’How about we get to know each other on the dance floor?’’ Andy asked, holding out her hand for him to take. If they were going to be beating around the bush for another hour, might as well take a break and have some fun.
THEO BOARDMAN.
Theo chose to ignore the sigh and focus on the smile on her face, mirroring it with one of his own. It was very clear that the blonde was not good at pool, but that didn’t mean he was going to take it easy on her. His eyebrows raised at her comment and he let out a soft chuckle. “Is that a threat or a promise?” He smirked. “Besides I’m not doing anything — just watching you take your shot.”
‘’I guess you’ll know soon enough’’ she said, shooting him a death glare before focusing back on the game. Ignoring his comment, she tried to position the pool queue and shoot but she could barely hold it the right way, let alone take a shot. ‘’I can’t fucking hold this!’’ she let out, frustrated. The smirk on his face made her want to punch him, or kiss him, she didn’t even know. What she knew was that she couldn’t hold the queue right and that’d she lose if she didn’t find a solution, and Andromeda hated losing. ‘’I’d beat you at anything else, you know?’’ she said, as pathetic as she sounded.

TATE MCALLISTER.
She laughed and Tate should have felt more even more embarrassed, but he was too distracted by her smile. He had seen it before when she was working, talking with customers and smiling. But it was different up close. Everything about her was different up close — somehow it was even better than he had imagined. And he had imagined it would be pretty damn great. Her words brought him out of his thoughts and he smiled slightly. “So am I.” He replied, finishing his glass of whiskey off.
Something about the way she said his name made him want to lean in and kiss her right there. That was insane, right? Calm the hell down, Tate. You’re acting like a crazy stalker. He almost shook his head at her words, sure that he wouldn’t ever think it wasn’t a pleasure to meet her since he had been waiting for this moment for weeks now. But that would also make him sound insane so he wasn’t going to make that comment. “I really doubt it, but I guess we’ll just have to see.” He replied, deciding that sounded much less stalker-ish. What brings him here? You. He wanted to say. He came there sometimes three days a week just to see her. That was also insane, he wasn’t going to tell her that. “Oh you know, the great atmosphere, the drinks…the friendly service.” He added the last part with a wide smile. “What brings you here? Don’t get enough of this place when you’re working?”
‘’I guess we will. That means you’ll have to stay long enough for me to reveal my true self’’ she added with a grin ‘’’Although that shouldn't take long, these whiskys are turning me into an open book’’ the blonde joked with a half-smile before taking another sip from the glass. Watching Tate, it was almost as if she was sitting right where she was supposed to all along. The vibe was good and words were flowing out of her mouth like he was the easiest person to talk to on this planet. It was an amazing feeling.
A smirk made its way up her lips at the mention of the friendly service. Sure, she had never been his waitress but something told her she was the one he was referring to, much to her content. She should’ve expected the question but Andromeda was still caught off guard as the other spoke. She couldn’t possibly tell him the truth, he’d run away faster than lighting. Telling him that she wanted to see him? Him, being a stranger she’d never even spoken to, who she would occasionally stare at from across the room, hoping he’d come talk to her. Him, the man she’d be secretly thinking about a little too much for it to be healthy, even if she’d never admit it to anyone else. ‘’What, can’t a girl get some fun at her workplace out of service hours?’’ she asked cautiously, trying to sound as detached as possible. ‘’You said it yourself, I’m here for the friendly service’’ she added with a wink. She was daring him to make an assumption, even if they both clearly knew the reason to the other’s presence. One of them would have to admit the truth, and Andromeda sure wasn’t about to spill anything. So instead, she’d play with the stranger, see if he’d have the guts to assume she was there for him without sounding too arrogant.
ELIZABETH MONTGOMERY.
“Oh why yes!” She exclaimed, grinning. “I’m sorry if I got in your way, I certainly didn’t mean too.” Lizzie apologized, taking the woman’s hand. “I supposed I’m a regular old klutz, just tripping up right here.” She giggled, looking at the way the blonde pointed. “Oh–oh!” Elizabeth clapped her hands. “I love marriages–she looks like a princess. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to get married?”
‘’It’s not your fault, you simply slipped. It could happen to anyone’’ she reassured with a small smile. Andromeda couldn’t help the small laugh that escaped her lips as the other excitedly clapped her hands. She couldn’t remember the last time she had been this happy about a wedding, probably never, and the other’s reaction was almost refreshing. ‘’She does indeed’’ the blonde said looking over at the bride.’’I guess. Are you planning on getting married anytime soon?’’ she asked, avoiding the question a little. She wasn’t a fan of marriage but she could see why the other was excited. The couple looked so happy.
REINA CHEN.
“Three, two, one - HAPPY NEW YEAR!” The crowd erupted in celebration to kick off the new year. Champagne was poured, party poppers popped, fireworks blasted and a kiss of good luck to welcome 2017 which Reina was no stranger to. When the clock struck twelve, the young woman turned the head of the person close by and pressed her lips to theirs. As she pulled away, she was grinning from ear to ear and rose her drink in cheers, “Happy new year, baby!”
Andromeda counted down with a grin on her face, already a little tipsy. The second she turned around, someone’s soft lips crashed against hers and the blonde simply kissed them back before a smile stretched her lips. Pulling back, she looked at the cute brunette who she had just kissed and her smile grew wider. ‘’Happy New Year to you too babes!’’ she cheered back.
ADRIANA GARCIA.
“Do you have any New Years celebration traditions? Besides the typical get drunk that everyone does,” Adriana inquired to the person next to her. The questioned stemming from curiosity but primarily boredom she shifted to face them with a smile awaiting an answer.
‘’Is there any other tradition?’’ she asked with a small laugh before facing the other. ‘’I eat twelve grapes at midnight because that’s what my dad used to do’’ she then remembered. ‘’Every time you eat one, you have to wish for something to happen during the new year.’’
THEO BOARDMAN.
“Go ahead, take your shot. Don’t let me bother you — no pressure.” Theo teased lightly, resting his arms on the edge of the pool table right next to his opponent.
Andromeda let out an annoyed sigh but couldn’t help the smile that took over her lips. The stranger she was playing against was too good and he knew it. She stood no chance and they both knew it but Andy was still trying her best, which was now a little hard with the man so close, totally messing with her focus. ‘’You’ll feel pressure where the sun doesn’t shine if you don’t let me take this shot right’’ she threatened poorly, now completely hopeless about winning the game.
ARLENA BUCHANAN.
As her eyes landed on the approaching figure, an amused smile lit up her features. “Good afternoon. Or should I say… Good morning?” Ah, the joys of New Year’s Day. Arlena popped a berry into her mouth, grinning quietly. It was an unwritten rule, truly: first she ate berries, then waffles. “How was your night?”
‘’I think my body is trying to tell me that I’m getting too old for such things’’ Andromeda replied with a small wince as she sat down. ‘’Happy New Year’’ she said before ordering a plate of blueberry waffles as well. ‘’How was yours?’’
ELIZABETH MONTGOMERY.
“I’m sorry– what is going on?” Elizabeth asked, hanging up her phone. “Why is there so much…confetti? Is someone getting married?” The blonde looked around her area excitedly, not paying attention to what was around her. As she was distracted, she tripped on a fire hydrant and fell directly on her butt. “O-oh crud.” She said, laughing slightly.
‘’Are you okay, darling?’’ Andromeda asked the woman with as a small frown formed on her face. Holding out her hand, she helped the other blonde get up. There were confettis everywhere and as festive as it was, it was getting stuck in everyone’s hair and it was getting annoying. She looked around before turning back to the female ‘’I think they’re getting married’’ she said before pointing at the couple dancing in the middle of the crowd.
Attracted Like Magnets | Andromeda + Tate
TATE MCALLISTER.
“I was wondering the same thing if we’re being honest.” Tate admitted before visibly wincing at how lame he sounded. He basically just admitted out loud to her that he had no idea what he was doing. Obviously he was very much out of practice when it came to acting smooth in front of an attractive woman. It did make him feel a little bit better that she had wondered if he would talk to her though. That meant she thought about him talking to her. He was sure that the normal waitress he got knew by now why he came there, she often caught him staring at her just as much as the blonde did. Truthfully Tate had planned on asking his normal waitress about the mystery girl before he even spoke to her. But lucky for him, now he didn’t have to.
Andromeda. After all this time he finally knew her name. For a long time he had just been calling her the ‘waitress from Omnia’. And now he could call her by her actual name. It was a great feeling for a small victory. “Andy.” Tate nodded, making a mental note to remember both her full name and nickname as he shook her hand giving her a soft smile. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Andy. I’m Tate.” He replied.
Andromeda couldn’t help the chuckle that left her lips at the man’s words. It was refreshing to talk to someone like him, almost comforting. Andy was used to overconfident man and arrogant assholes who simply always assumed she’d sleep with them because of her workplace but she had a feeling about him. He was different. Maybe that’s what attracted her the most, she had felt it even before talking to him. He wasn’t like the others. ‘’I’m very glad you did then’’ she added with a reassuring smile.
His hand was warm in hers and something about that first contact made the woman shiver. His hands were firm and a little callus, like a man who’d been through a lot, but his warmth was almost comforting. She smiled at the mention of his name and had to suppress a smirk as she heard him try out her name on his tongue. She definitely liked the way it sounded coming out of his mouth. ‘’Tate’’ Andromeda repeated, his name rolling off her tongue with a grin. She liked it, it suited him. ‘’Now don’t tell me it’s a pleasure to meet me yet. You’d have to get to know me first, and then maybe your opinion will change, who knows’’ she teased before ordering another glass of whisky. ‘’Tell me Tate, what brings you here?’’ the blonde asked turning around to face him before taking a sip of her drink.
ANNABELLE DEVEROUX.
“Total and utter pain… Migraine.” She said quietly, rubbing her temples. “Sure, I guess they might help.”
‘’They’re quite strong so I’ll just give you one for now’’ Andromeda said as she handed the other a pill. She often experienced the same kind of migraines and needed the medication to get her back on her feet, especially for work. ‘’Do you usually get migraines like this?’’ the blonde asked.
Attracted Like Magnets | Andromeda + Tate
TATE MCALLISTER.
This was stupid, right? Tate came to Omni at the same time every week and sat at the same table and for what? So that he could sit there for a few hours and watch this stranger work while he tried to think of some way to have a conversation with her, that’s what. Every time he found himself walking through the doors of the club he felt like a pathetic loser. He could easily just go up to her and ask her name. After all, he was sure that she was playing the same game he was judging by how many times she caught him staring whenever he was there and she was working. But damn, there was something about this girl that just kept him coming back. They hadn’t ever spoken and he didn’t know her name but he knew that she was the reason he came there sometimes three times a week.
But unfortunately sometimes she wasn’t there and today was one of those days. So instead of his usual table Tate made a b line for the bar and sat down before ordering his usual glass of whiskey on the rocks. He should have just left — really, he shouldn’t have come there at all. It was ridiculous to be acting like he was at twenty-six years old. But then he heard a laugh and someone spoke next to him. Having to do a double take, Tate then realized it was her. She was there, and she wasn’t working, and she was sitting next to him, and she was talking to him. Say something you idiot. “Very.” His lips twitched into a slight smile. “I’m nothing if not a man of following a routine.”
‘’I’m glad you are then. I was wondering if you’d ever talk to me’’ she admitted with a small smile as she faced the man. Truth was, for the past weeks, she’d been more and more excited to show up to work because of the man. She would never admit it though, that was something she kept hidden deep down and that no one could know. What would people think? Showing up everyday at work to stare at a stranger? That was the kind of behavior that could get her into a nut house and it wasn’t at all sexy. Her co-workers always teased her about it, some of them even offering to trade sections so she could get his table but Andromeda always refused. She wasn’t the shy type at all, you couldn’t be when you were in the kind of industry she was in but something about directly going to him as Andy the waitress was holding her back.
Now that she was sitting in front of him, her uniform long gone and her hair a little too messy, he could get to know the real Andromeda Verona. The one that was couldn’t help but glance at him every time he’d make an appearance. The one that had, against her will even memorized his order. She simply couldn’t stay away, it was like something about him was pulling her in and she knew he had felt it too because there he was, his body only inches away from hers. ‘’I’m Andromeda, by the way’’ she introduced herself softly, holding out her hand. ‘’But you can call me Andy’’ the blonde added with a sweet smile.
