Wyatt flinched slightly when he called her father in earshot of her friend. A hand in the pocket he followed until they’d put some distance between them and anyone that had been hanging around. “Professor Crouch, while I’m here around your peers Andy, I think it’d be more appropriate.”
“Right,” Andy said slowly. “Sorry, Professor Crouch.” She stood there for a few moments, looking at the father she knew but barely, noted she got her dark hair and sharp jaw from him, while her eyes were her mother’s. “Did you have something important to say, or just to say hey?” Her tone, a smidge colder now, a hardness in her gaze.
