this is a good sentiment but library cards issued actually don’t translate to more funding. what does result in increased government funding specifically is the amount of people using the resources provided by the library.

if you want to help fund libraries near you, you should donate or utilize their services.

Today I learned that none of the colleges I went to exist anymore.

Going to Brooklyn to watch the fireworks. I’d like to think that since it’s a ticketed event, they wouldn’t sell more tickets than space available, but I’ve seen pictures and video of Times Square on New Year’s Eve. I’m doubtful. So I’ll be showing up at the last second so there won’t be too many people coming in after me and I won’t get boxed in. In situations like this I like to have an exit strategy and something to hold onto if things get crazy.

I started making a digital sketch journal kind of thing? I want to draw a little something every day, and I figure since I write on my journal every day, drawing what I’m writing about would work.
