Andrew 'Andy' Brooks
Full Name: Andrew Brooks
Nickname: Andy
Age: 16
Pronouns: He/Him
Appearance
Andrew is broad shouldered and fairly muscular, with brown hair that is almost always a mess, loose strands falling in every direction. Contrasting with his locks is the striking green of his eyes, though they are rarely seen since he usually wears a pair of sunglasses, which have become one of his most recognizable traits. Freckles are scattered across his face, softening his otherwise tough and confident appearance, while a small mole sits beneath his right eye. He also has a few subtle features, such as his pierced ears, most of the time decorated with tiny cross earring.
Backstory
The fame of his father, a football coach of high respect, set him an example from the very day of birth. All that the man cared about was to shape his son after his own self and to create a perfect footballer out of him. He never gave him an option. He was given a ball to kick right after learning how to walk. But unlike most of these stories, Andrew is surprisingly good at the sport. In fact, he's exceptional. This however causes him to develop a superiority complex at just twelve years old. He becomes arrogant and extremely competitive. He's unable to take any failures. He considers himself above everybody else and believes that he is only worth his achievements.
And for many years it goes on like this, until his life takes a strange turn when he turns fifteen. He meets a group of... interesting people at his old school. Their carefree attitude and the way they see the world make him realize there's something he's been hiding from himself. For the first time, he begins to question whether what he's been pursuing is truly what he wants. He's always loved music. More specifically, he's always loved playing the drums. But because he was naturally gifted at football, he never allowed himself to dig deeper into that passion. It was easier to keep following the path that had already been chosen for him than to admit he wanted something else.
When Andrew finally finds the courage to tell his father the truth, it goes worse than he could have ever imagined. He refuses to believe that his son wants something different, convincing himself that Andrew has simply been influenced by the wrong crowd. Certain that those people have filled his head with nonsense and are pulling him away from the future he planned for him, he sends Andrew to Bullsworth Academy, believing the strict environment will set him straight.
About the creator
Hello! This is my only Tumblr blog.
I'm VEEEERY new to both Tumblr and the Bully fandom, so please give me some time to settle in! I might not understand everything right away, but I'm always open to learning and any help or advice is more than welcome.
This is a roleplay only account. If I ever make an out of character post, I'll clearly state it beforehand. Otherwise, if you see a post without an OOC note, please assume it's still in character.
If I ever do something that makes you uncomfortable while I'm roleplaying as Andy (who can be pretty mean sometimes), please let me know! I'm more than willing to tone things down and make sure everyone is having fun.
IMPORTANT: I am a minor. I am 16 years old in real life, but I'm comfortable interacting and roleplaying with adults as long as nothing sexual or inappropriate happens. Of course, both sides need to be comfortable with that. If you're an adult and you don't feel comfortable roleplaying with a minor, I completely understand and respect your choice. No judgment at all!
This is my Carrd if you'd like to know more about me!
Roleplay Boundaries
1) I'm okay with the roleplay taking any direction! Couple, rivals, friends, enemies, or anything else. I'm open to pretty much anything. For romantic roleplays, please keep in mind that Andrew is bisexual. However, for the sake of the story and his character development, I'll be having him discover that later on. OC x OC and OC x Canon are both completely fine with me!
2) Please do not interact with me if you just turned or are under the age of 14. I'm really sorry, but this is a personal boundary of mine and I'd appreciate it if it was respected. Thank you for understanding!
3) If there's anything you'd like me to know about your character that isn't mentioned in their introduction, please let me know before we start! You can also tell me what kind of direction you'd like the roleplay to take beforehand so I can follow along better and make it more enjoyable for both of us.
