Like many people I'm not happy with the popular media definition of beauty. So after many years of trying I have decided to publish my own definition of true beauty.
For me true beauty is extremely rare, I have probably met many 1000s of women in my life. Despite that huge number I have met less than 25 truly beautiful women and only 6 that stand out as amazingly beautiful.
My definition you see here was refined in 2001 after meeting 2 of the truly beautiful women I know. It has 5 basic qualities that any truly beautiful person (woman) must have.
A truly beautiful woman should look good and look right. Most people I see are fairly good looking, there are obviously some who are exceptionally good looking, pretty or photogenic. Looking good is not about specific set physical qualities more about the whole person.
A person will "looking right" when they are look natural and in keeping with their character. To have someone that is wearing too much makeup, is false or dressed in a manner that doesn't look natural for them would look wrong. In recent years this has been increasingly rare to find.
While looks are the most obvious and common quality they are also the least important.
There are many types of intelligence from academic to emotional. A persons intelligence can also be used in different ways. Some people use there intelligence to scheme and deceive while others use their intelligence to help and solve problems.
I prefer the people who have a practical /instinctive intelligence that use their intelligence to help others and solve problems.
There is good quote that sums up the relationship between academic and practical intelligence.
Any correlation between a university degree and intelligence is purely coincidental.
My favourite characters are those who are fun, calm, loving, lively, kind and friendly. There are many people who can be one of those but not all of them. Only the most beautiful characters can be all of the above and at the right time. This makes a person great to be with in all circumstances and at all times. Think of a person you could happily take to an all-night party one day then take to a good restaurant on another.
No we are getting the really important qualities that make the difference between a fun good looking acquaintance and a true beauty.
A good relationship is not just how close we are, but also how consistently well I we get on. For example there are some women that I meet who are very affectionate and we get on very well but then next time we meet they won't even acknowledge me. I can then meet them a few weeks later and it will be like meeting an old close friend. This leaves me not knowing what's happening or if I've done something wrong.
The best people are consistently great to meet and we get closer every time we meet. If there is something wrong the person will be comfortable letting me know.
This final quality makes the difference between a good looking great friend and a truly beautiful woman. It is the special unknown quality that makes me smile whenever I meet the person. If I meet someone and they make me smile while I'm with them that's great. However a truly beautiful person I could meet for a few minutes and would make me smile for the whole morning, day or even week. The very best lighten my entire life and can help me survive terrible circumstances.
It's not like the relationship where it always takes time to build and is all about consistency. This is more an instant emotional feeling. With the most beautiful women the magic quality will grow stronger every time I meet them.
This magic quality might sound like love, which given time and the opportunity it could become.
