@andyj
no. all you have now are pieces, if the scavengers don't get to them first.
my whole has fallen apart. do i get a new one?
at the end of the day the internet is just a mental junkyard. unless you’re trying to build something what are you really doing here?
A celestial map tracing Earth's annual alignment with the sun (gold line) and the Milky Way galaxy (blue) across the night sky. Twice a year these alignments overlap and the sun "crosses" the galactic equator (green line) with respect to Earth. In the 2012 era, this event has special significance for two reasons: 1) it will occur on the winter solstice, and, due to Earth's axial wobble, will not do so again for another 26,000 years; 2) it will occur in the vicinity of Saggitarius, with the sun crossing into a dark area of the Milky Way known as the Great Rift.
When the sky is mapped using a CO gas emission filter, a bright line forms along our galactic plane of rotation. In the night sky this is actually visible as a band of darkness bisecting the bright lane of the Milky Way and enshrouding the black hole at its center. Astronomers call it the Great Rift, or alternatively the Dark River.
