bro im actually tired of thg fandom trying to find every single way to villainize gale MORE THAN SNOW OR COIN😭😭 like bro gale would NOT use his one-wish willow on katniss so she’d love him more than the whole world because he KNEW she would hate the loss of autonomy and the feeling of being trapped. he genuinely knew katniss better than anyone in district 12 and knew how much she cared for her family. he wouldn’t take her from that.

stop trying to make a teenager who has troubles with registering and understanding his own emotions and is an active outcome of a society where the poor get poorer and more weary and the rich get richer and more healthy a villain when you have a dictator RIGHT THERE.

being a sasunaru is not for the weak, cuz every other edit is of naruto saying he won’t let orochimaru take sasuke away and all the comments are calling him a toxic, possessive and obsessed ex, mind you he was 13 and was extremely hurt both physically and emotionally because his best friend tried to kill him and yet he still fought hard to try and get him back because he didn’t want sasuke to go to an evil scientist to gain power but yeah sure the 13 yr old boy did all of that because he was an alpha and wanted to lock his omega in a dungeon somewhere that’s totally it that’s what that scene was all about

Sasuke Uchiha through the lens of the Rōnin 🗡️

After leaving with Orochimaru and severing his ties with Konoha, Sasuke became a wandering swordsman, a rōnin who lives strictly by his own code, seeking revenge. Such a crucial change needed to be shown to the reader through his appearance and demeanor.

In anime and films, a swordsman with an open shirt and an exposed chest represents a dangerous, reckless, and informal fighter. That detail accentuates Sasuke’s confidence and recklessness, showing that he doesn't care about heavy armor and isn’t afraid to expose his vital organs to the opponent’s attack.

Other rōnin characters, such as Zoro from One piece, Jubei Kibagami from Ninja Scroll, Shinsuke Takasugi from Gintama, Manji from Blade of the immortal, Yasuke, also wear clothing that exposes their body and leaves them defenseless, making them look even more intimidating and dangerous.

Sasuke uses a katana—a chokutō sword, if being more specific—which was commonly used by samurai.

Many fans often associate his rope belt with Orochimaru, but it became a practical part of his clothing that functions as a sword sash. This also explains why Sasuke kept wearing the rope even after killing Orochimaru and being on his own.

Sasuke’s armored sleeves from early shippuden era are called kote. Kote is a gauntlet that covers the back of the hand while leaving the fingers free, they’re a part of Samurai armor.

Aside from appearance, a huge part of Sasuke’s character is his reserved and stoic demeanor. His calm confidence and his unwavering determination all contribute to the image of a wandering swordsman.

Some people reduce Sasuke to someone who’s “easily manipulated”, but one of his defining traits is that he has his own code. While training under Orochimaru, Sasuke refused to kill the shinobi he encountered, because it contradicted his worldview and principles. He used Orochimaru to get stronger but never adopted his philosophy.

Also, during that training, he defeated a thousand shinobi single-handedly, demonstrating his immense strength and impressive skills.

While Sasuke doesn’t explicitly follow what is conventionally known as bushido, he still demonstrates a strict internal code and personal philosophy that he abides by, expecting the members of his team, Hebi, to abide by it as well.

⭐️ Another detail worth noting is the suffix "-suke" (助) in Sasuke’s name. The kanji 助 carries the meaning of "help" or "assistance”. The suffix appears in many Japanese male names and it’s commonly used in samurai names, such as Yasuke, Shinsuke.

Очень нежно люблю мушкетёров Дюмы, но до определенного возраста знала только о первой книге... Сейчас наконец села читать "двадцать лет спустя" и заново словила фиксацию, так хорошо не чувствовала себя лет с 13))

Хочу зафанартить какую-то из сцен более полноценно, пока просто портретики!!
