I had a post in the drafts saying i was already missing hockey-the pwhl sooo much😭 AND THEN I FIND OUT THERE'S A PROFESSIONAL WOMEN'S BASEBALL LEAGUE (yes, BASEBALL not softball! No shade to softball but it always irked me how I had never heard of female baseball??? Only ever softball?? But - and correct me if I'm wrong - male softball doesn't exist?) which will have its FIRST SEASON - THE INAUGURAL SEASON THIS YEAR THIS SUMMER starting august 1st!!! (So ok, still quite a bit of empty time for me with no women's sport lol but not the point and the wait just got more exciting!!)

Now, will i ever be obsessed with baseball? Chances are low. Sadly im still bored by watching (or even playing lol) most sports But casually watching it here and there? YE! And I have relatives that like or even used to play baseball so im still SUPER excited!

Honestly, i could even hate a sport and id still be excited hearing they got a professional women's league beacuse FUCK YEAH TO PRO WOMEN'S SPORTS!! FUCK YEAH TO WOMEN GETTING THE SPOTLIGHT AND GETTING PAID!!

I'm still learning info about this league - the WPBL !!! - but it does seem like they're planning to stream the games on youtube like the pwhl does!! They'll play at their own field! In Springfield, Illinois and tickets are now available on their site! (Or at least some of them? It seems there's a few different types that will drop at later dates?) They also already have a schedule out! And there's 4 teams! Inaugural four let's gooo!!! LA, San Francisco, Boston and NY!

Spread the news if you can and let's support women's sports!
