Sometimes, when I see other people and what they've achieved, I feel really small. It's like I'm the guy with a crumpled folder and wet sneakers trying to fit in with the top students. I can't help but be disappointed in myself because it seems like everyone else has their lives all figured out while I struggle with the basics.
But when my insecurities get the best of me, I remind myself that my worth isn't determined by comparing myself to others. I may not be the best in the room, but I'm better than the me from two years ago. I'm making decisions I couldn't make before, I'm learning to be more patient with myself, addressing my own flaws, and meeting good people. This kind of growth isn't just something, it's a victory. For that, I should be proud of myself…
And by the way, it's important to recognize your progress and celebrate your growth. So, as you reflect on these thoughts, remember that you're doing great! Keep moving forward, and no matter the challenges, keep believing in yourself.
