Look I truly believe kids’ media should be criticized and scrutinized but too many people on this site who are damn near fully-grown co-opt kids media as THEIR media, pointing fingers at things for children and saying “this isn’t good enough for ME, why isn’t it what I want” when it’s perfectly good and harmless for children to enjoy

The key to criticizing kids’ media is asking “could this be better for kids?”, not “this should be better for me, an adult”
