I will not RP with anyone who does not have listed somewhere on their blog that they are 18+. If this is not listed and you interact, I will block you. Simple as that. Angel is a sex worker, the whole blog is going to end up having some adult themes just by the nature of what he does and who he is. If you’re a minor, kindly just close out this tab and leave my blog.

Do not like my open starters if you have no intention of answering them. This goes doubly for non-RP blogs and I will block any non-RP blogs who do this. By doing that you drive away people who might actually want to answer them.
There is smut on this blog, but I’m more selective about those threads. Please see the FAQ and About pages for more on shipping.
I am always completely fine with fading to black. I will not ask you to write something you aren’t comfortable with.
If I find out you have lied to me about your age, I will block you and will report you if this was done in order to RP smut.
I will do my best to try to tag things that are NSFW or that may be triggery or otherwise cause problems for people. If I miss something, let me know. RP is meant to be fun for all of us.
The Not Safe For Work tag is “n.sfw” and it covers sexually explicit material, excessive gore or violence, etc. The sex-specific NSFW tag is “when life gives you lemons || smut”, if you just want to block sexual content. Thread posts that contain NSFW or particularly triggery material will be placed under a read-more at my partner’s request. This blog is 18+ and everything will be tagged appropriately.
The trigger tag is “tw: [tagged trigger]”, so for example “tw: violence.”
The content warning tag is “cw: [content]”. This is used for things like sexual content, gore, torture, anything that would earn a post an NSFW tag, as well as for minor instances of things like period typical homophobia. For instance, Angel is a physical and sexual abuse survivor. If I'm mentioning something about that in passing, it will be tagged “cw: abuse mention.“ If there’s anything graphic, such as in depth discussion or scenes containing such material, it will have a “tw:” tag instead.
There may be instances of slurs in the context of RP dialogue or inner monologue. This is not reflective of the mun’s views. Angel lived from the 1910s to the 1940s, so sometimes he might use problematic words or phrases, even though he has no problem with women, people of color, or LGBTQ people. The specific content tag for his use of slurs is “cw: Angel’s 1920s lingo”.

Do not push ships on me. I’m generally fine with shipping, as long as we discuss it first. But if I have said no to something, that means no. It’s usually because I’m uncomfortable with it for some reason, and I will generally make that reason known. Don’t keep pushing If you do this, I will not RP with you.
The mun is not the muse. That should go without saying. Angel may say or do things that I would never say or do and that I disagree with. But that’s Angel, not me. It will be clear when I’m talking OOC, as those posts will start with a //. If it doesn’t have a //, it’s Angel. If something he says or does is triggery to you and you would like me to tag it, please let me know and I will be happy to do so.
I do not generally send in “passwords” and whatnot. However, I also almost never follow anybody who doesn’t have rules somewhere on their blog, as I do make a point of reading those so I know how they run their blog. I’m just an anxious mess and sometimes it’s hard for me to reach out to people and that does extend to sending passwords. Or any messages, for that matter.
Unless otherwise stated, interactions with each character my muse interacts with are treated as separate.

Physical appearance: Angel is a spider demon. He stands nearly 8 feet tall and has six arms. One pair of arms can be folded away and hidden, but the other two are fixed. Angel is covered in white fur with powder pink markings. He has eight eyes: two primary eyes which are heterochromatic and six smaller eyes with three beneath each primary eye. He has shark-like teeth, including one on the upper right side that is gold. Angel only ever wears dresses and skirts, never pants, and always has on stockings. Usually he has boots on as well. He hates his feet, which look like a spider foot, and doesn’t even want to have to look at them himself, let alone have anyone else see them.
Distinguishing marks: Heart shaped marking on his chest that tails off towards his groin. This marking bioluminesces. He also has a heart shaped marking on the back of his head. His left eye has a black sclera with a red iris and pupil.

Relationship status: It’s complicated. While Angel is not currently involved in a romantic relationship, his pimp, Valentino, is very controlling and will seek to destroy any meaningful relationships Angel has. (And probably seek retribution for Angel daring to find a relationship.)
Mental Health and Behavior:
While he hides it very well, Angel does suffer from some level of C-PTSD resulting from his time with Valentino. He has issues with self-worth and self-esteem and tends to fear violence if he upsets anyone close to him besides Cherri. Not that that stops him from pissing people off. He tends to push until he finds a person’s breaking point. While hasn’t so much tried to put that into words, it’s sort of an “it’s inevitable, may as well get it out of the way” thought process. This, too, largely stems from Valentino’s abuse. Although Angel wants to leave Valentino, he feels trapped.
Angel tends to act rather blasé about most things. That indifference isn’t entirely feigned. He has a general disregard for most people, but he’s less indifferent about his own treatment. In particular, he acts like the way Valentino treats him and the assumptions people tend to make about him don’t bother him. They do. He tends to take those things to heart.
History:
Angel was born into an Italian-American mafia family in Brooklyn, New York City, New York in 1913. As a youth, Angel worked with the family and was primarily involved in smuggling. He did finish high school, though never sought further education. There didn’t seem to him to be any point. After all, his future was tied with the family and he would spend his life working for them.
When he was 23, however, his family found out he was gay. That saw him effectively exiled, with only his twin sister, Molly, maintaining any contact. He sought to disappear, submerging himself in the anonymity of Sands Street in DUMBO. He did what he had to in order to survive - which also meant not drawing too much attention lest people connect him with his family. He became a prostitute in the red light district on Sands Street, near the Navy Yard. It was during that time that he developed an addiction to drugs. They started as a means of escape and ended up ruling his life. He died of an overdose in 1947, at 34 years old.
Upon arriving in Hell, he found that things really hadn’t changed much. Sure, there was some new anatomy to get used to, but otherwise things were much the same as they had been in DUMBO. He fell back into the same things that had ruled his life while he was still alive: drugs and prostitution. However, this time around, Valentino found him and offered him a contract. Angel would like to say he had no idea what he was getting into, but unfortunately, he did. He knew the details, he was just desperate, which was exactly what Valentino was counting on. In the decades since, he has become Hell’s biggest porn star and the main draw among the dancers at Valentino’s club. That success, however, has not spared him from Valentino’s predatory tendencies.

Hello! This blog is run by a couple members of a plural system. We're the Color Pallette. You can call us Color collectively or the name of whoever is fronting. If you want to know more about plurality and systems, we're happy to answer respectful questions. It'll probably be primarily our two hosts, Cyan and Cerise, running this account, although others may show up from time to time.
We've been role-playing for about 17 years now. We started with Cyan role-playing a couple of Death Note characters with our best friend.

Cyan is a brainmade amalgamation of a few different things and has been around for the system's entire life. Xe's genderqueer and uses xe/xir/xir/xirs/xirself or they/them pronouns. Xir alter age is mid 30s. Xir mun faceclaim is Toboe from Wolf's Rain.
Cerise (💎)
Cerise is a fictive and has been around for about four years now. He's genderfluid and uses he/she/they pronouns. His alter age is also mid 30s. His mun faceclaim is Jax from The Amazing Digital Circus.
