It's crazy how trauma makes you push people away when all you want is love.
~ Whitney Hanson
“And when I asked you how you’d been, I meant I missed you more than I’ve ever missed anything before.”
— Iain Thomas
“There’s that one person you’ll never get over no matter how long it’s been.”
— Avinash Wandre
“Get comfortable with being alone. It will empower you.”
— Unknown
I don't know if it's just me, but when I speak with healthy people, I feel like I'm living in a completely different reality.
What? You don't worry about getting seriously ill everyday? Your biggest inconvenience is traffic? You don't wake up in pain? You can do multiple activities without physical consequences? You have income for things other than necessities?
How are we even living in the same society?
Agreed.
it wasn’t even worth it.
“You are not just here to fill space or be a background character in someone else’s movie. Consider this: nothing would be the same if you did not exist. Every place you have ever been and everyone you have ever spoken to would be different without you. We are all connected, and we are all affected by the decisions and even the existence of those around us.”
— David Niven
I stopped sending paragraphs, stopped begging, I stopped telling people how to treat me, and started walking away, blocking, and distancing myself. Life may be lonely, but it's becoming peaceful. Sometimes being alone in life is better than being surrounded by half-ass people.
fuck everyone who makes you feel like you aren’t good enough
reminder.
Sometimes, being hurt too many times, doesn’t make you stronger, it destroy who you were, who you wanted to be and makes who you are today.
— Rafael Prado

shout out to my fellow physically disabled people who doesn't know whats "wrong" with them. in the sense that doctors cannot tell you whats up with your body, can't give it a label, or ignore your symptoms all together. to all my physically disabled people who have trouble explaining their symptoms for whatever reason, be it memory issues, struggling to know what's normal and whats not, not being able to put it into words, or whatever else it may be. I understand how frustrating it can be to not be able to slap a label on your problems. I understand what it's like to not understand your symptoms. especially younger disabled people, people who's doctors don't even try to understand their symptoms because they're "too young to to be disabled". disabled people who have people asking "why do you have that" in response to mobility aids and not being able to give them a simple answer, or one at all. I see you, I understand the struggle of not understanding, the frustration of not knowing what it is that causes whatever your struggle may be. I promise one day it'll get better. whether it be figuring our the cause, or coming to terms with the fact that it's OK not to know.
