there’s just something better about sitting on the kitchen counter I can’t explain it
it’s where snacks belong
having “feelings” is ruining my reputation of being a heartless bitchÂ
Me to a 5 yr old: so how do you keep your skin so clear??
There’s this girl at my school and she’s really nice and I remember sometime last year at one point she would carry a clicker around and click it everytime she had a happy thought/something good happened/she laughed etc. It was always kind of cute how you’d just hear the little click every once in a while throughout class it always made me smile knowing that it was bc something made her feel happy idk
she was training herself to be happy oh my god
does it work???? Imagine feeling yourself slipping into depression and you just click a few times and your brain says “wait, this is the sound of happiness I have to release serotonin”
She fucking Pavlov’d herself, the absolute madwoman

Do you ever wanna bond with someone so bad you’re like “damn i wish we were knights on a dangerous quest”
“Where can I put everything you did to me down? I don’t want to carry it anymore.”
— You can’t be done with someone who can still make you angry.
It’s okay to burn bridges that you never want to cross again.
Motivation:
Chances are that if you’re not feeling too motivated, you’re not doing what you love. If this applies to your job or what subjects you’re choosing in high school or college, maybe it’s time to reevaluate whether you can adjust to what you love.
We’re all guilty of procrastination. We wait until the night before to start that project, we start dieting a week before our holiday and we sleep at 2am, after watching tv rather than being productive. It’s time to put work first.
Hype yourself up. Sometimes the only motivation we need is our success. Work hard enough for something and let that feeling of winning guide you to aspire to feeling it more.
Stop blaming others for your failures. If your project is due and you didn’t do it, chances are you wasted that time. (Think about how much time you spend on social media, watching tv, napping, going out with friends etc). This sounds harsh but you need to hear it because it’s simply how life is. If you fail, people will look at you, not others. Therefore, try to adapt to your situations rather than sit back and blame others for them.Â
Find your time for productivity. If you want to go to the gym, try going for a whole week during the morning, then a week going at night and maybe even a week going midday. Figure out what time is best for you. If it’s studying, try to take note of what time you’re most productive during.
Ask questions. There is no shame in trying to understand something more. Rather ask a question now than get bad results later because you were too afraid to ask.
Look at motivation. Look at the success that you want to have in your life and don’t let yourself forget that sweet reward that you’re hoping to work for.
Don’t get caught up in the drama. Focus on your goals.Â
Whenever you’re happy with where you are or what you’ve done, look it all over and do something a little extra. Revision is the key to making something good into something great.
Stand up for yourself. if you want more hours at work, a better grade for your school work or even simple respect. If you feel something isn’t right, speak up. Too many people let everything go and continue to suffer.
Don’t try to put too much on your plate at once. You’re not superhuman. You’d be better off choosing a couple things to focus on at once and doing them extremely well.
Don’t compare your success to the success of others. Use them as inspiration, but don’t view yourself as a failure. Everyone’s circumstances are different and what’s important is that you’re going harder and farther than the previous you.
Notice factors that attribute to the success of others. Be more observant about these things.
It’s ok to ask for advice.
Have an ambadassador to look up to. Mine are Olivia Pope in Scandal and Annalise Keating in How to Get Away with Murder. They are both badass women who go for what they want and that’s something I could use a bit of. I also look up to various other people around me who I see speak up and take charge of their lives in ways that I don’t. Seeing these (fictional and nonfictional) successes can give you drive to do the same)
Think about where you want to be and where you are. Think about who you don’t want to be. Don’t allow yourself to get lazy or you’ll end up being that person that you don’t want to be.Â
It’s great to work out, but no play can equal to burnout. Take some time for yourself.
Don’t reward yourself until you’ve actually done work. Don’t have a cheat day if you didn’t work out one day during the week, don’t watch tv if you didn’t finish that project etc.Â
Make lists. What needs to be done? When does it need to be done? Write that shit down somewhere you can easily see this and make your way through the list. Give yourself a big reward when the list is finished.
You: Weird flex but ok
Me, an intellectual:
my spongebob favorite quotes video is making its rounds again so i made another, there are still so many more it would probably be like an hour long
