What @lady-axolotl doesn’t want you to know…

The argument that music (or any other form of art & expression) should not be political is absurd & will fall apart very easily. Everything is political whether that makes you uncomfortable or not. My own existence as someone who identifies as a transgender woman is constantly bashed by my US politicians, thus making ME a political thing. That makes me uncomfortable, it should make everyone uncomfortable. Our lives our being put in the hands of evil people who have zero good intentions. My response to that is my art. If you have a problem with it, either you cannot accept that people like me & my friends & my family, or anyone for that matter are being oppressed on a colossal scale, or maybe the way I do it is not for you. But don't go out of your way to say "art should be XYZ". Art knows no boundaries & trying to argue otherwise is foolish.
