I was making these gifs purely for the cuteness factor, but I noticed something.

Piper’s always been kind and would always help people up, but not like this. Episode One Piper might have held out a hand or checked to make sure they were okay before helping them to their feet.

This here is something different. This is the beginning of Mother Hen Piper. Caring, yes, but forceful. She pulls Leo up whether he’s ready or not. This Piper is the Piper who will say “You’re strong, keep going, I won’t take weakness as an answer,” and that’s the Piper who keeps people (including herself) alive.

The growth happens so slowly with her you barely notice, but blogging about it has helped me see how she’s changing.

Leo nodded. “Right. That makes sense. And I think that there is some sort of magic and mystery to the tooth fairy, the kind that children love. It’s really no wonder that story caught on as it has.” He smiled, pausing briefly. “Wait there is a reason why she takes teeth?”
