I'm dating my literal soulmate who wants to hear about all of the weird shit that has happened with her that made me believe in soulmates again

Ok so number one, when we first started talking- literally the FIRST day, I had a dream about her coming into my work place and flirting with her and stuff- I could see her so vividly in the dream which is crazy because we hadn't even met in person at that point because it was legit the first day of us talking

Number two, right off the bat we had this strange connection- there's no way for me to describe it other than an immediate feeling of familiarity

I know that might sound the most cliche ever but at that point it really wasn't even a romantic connection? It was just a closeness and understanding that is indescribable and odd for an acquaintance.

She moved away from our hometown to college like 4 days after we started talking, and she originally was going to cut me off because she didn't want to do long distance, but she tried and failed because something kept telling her that she shouldn't do that

Anyways so at one point we literally had the same dream- I dont remember what happened in it but I remember talking to her for hours about how crazy it was that we had nearly identical dreams

One of the weirdest things though?? Is that SEVERAL times in the time that weve been dating, I've been like hardcore upset about things and wont have posted anything or said anything to her about it and she randomly asks me if everything is okay because she got a bad feeling

Same thing happens with me- sometimes I randomly get the most horrible feeling and I text her and turns out smth bad is usually up when I do get that feeling

One of the things that literally blows my mind though??

We went on a date to a cute witchy store in a city near our hometown (and then to have frozen custard!) And I showed her the type of rock that I've dubbed "my rock" because I have a sense of connection or whatever to it and have had that feeling of connection to that particular gem for years now-

And she just looks at me with the widest eyes- and I'm SO confused at that point, so I keep asking her why shes looking at me like that after I've just told her about "my" rock (its opalite, btw!)

And she says ".....when I was 5 I went on vacation and at the gift store I picked out this heart shaped rock and BEGGED my mom to buy it for me, and when she asked why i wanted it so bad, i told her it was the rock of the person i was going to marry one day. I still have it, it's in my jewelry box at home- it's that- it's your rock"

LET ME TELL YOU. I CRIED RIGHT THERE, SITTING IN THE FLOOR OF THAT WITCHY SHOP

She showed me the rock when she got back home and sure enough it was my type of stone-- and she asked her mom again about the story just to confirm that she remembered right, and sure enough it was true

How to make: Angel bread!

Credit to my partner for the name, this is going to be a small series of posts of how to make stuff that I’m making for a date for me and my partner!

What you will need:

2 cans of pillsberry butter flake crescent rolls

A block of cream cheese

1 1/3 cups of sugar or so

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tsp of cinnamon

1 stick of butter

Preheat oven to 350°

Unroll one of the cans of crecent rolls at the bottom of a 13x9 pan

Mix together 1 block of cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract and spread that on top of the unrolled crecent roll

Take the second can of crecent rolls and unroll that on top of the cream cheese layer

Mix together 1/3 cup of sugar and 2 tsp of cinnamon and spread that evenly over the top of the dough

Melt 1 stick of butter and pour that over everything

Bake for 30 minutes and you are done!
